@Toppy - That would be great for any week beside the week after trainings. e.g. training week; week after traing; you do no luck invloved; 3rd week of the month; last week of the month; luck is involved . How does that sound?

That sounds good, so the no luck is right after training, then to keep it interesting we throw in some luck. I still don't know how to determine what happens if one horse 'challenges' another, and if that kind of thing. Still needs tweaking.

Well, you've already determinded the dice part, and now your trying to figure out how the 'change' happens right? Well, lets say, Charles and War Admiral are 'challenging' one another. You could use random.org, give say charles (as he's coming first ) gets the number 1. And WA gets the number 2. Whatever number it lands on, that horse will receive a 'boost' of 15 points. Then if its still under, it stays under. Or that would seem like a good way to go. But you could also do that without the boost of 15 points. etc.

btw, i'm so sorry if i don't make sense or other. I just don't feel very well at the moment.

I like that idea, it seems easy and fair. Ok, I think I have a way figured out now. I'm going to combine what you just said with most of what I said earlier to get it. I'll try it with the next results, and show everyone the differnce luck makes. If there's any major flaws, we can just use the normal results and keep working on the luck system. How it's figured out in my head probbly won't make sense to anyone unless I figured out how to write it out clearly, so I won't go over the whole thing again, but it's mostly what I already said.

Order them from highest number to lowest

Ok, since not many of the competitions are being run. I am asking them to take a look when they were supposed to be run, and if they are due to be run later this month, please get them ready soon, so all you have to do is post them. (execpt the ones for next month during training week).

I'd also like, just because there is hardly nothing happening this week (nor next i don't think), everyone to still post! We can't let this thread die just because there isn't any chance of training or breeding.

I may create a NEW competition, But not like any other competition. This ONE SINGLE COMPETITION is based on LUCK. It will run this week (as a tester and hopefully will run like this every 3rd week. I will post up the following, and you guys are to do as per what is says.

Rules:
~All Normal Competition Rules
~Only 4 horses from one user can enter.
~1 credit per horse
~The prize will be 20 credits to the winner.
~There will be no wingeing if you loose.
~There will only be 1 winner. No 2nd's or 3rd's.
~This competition is run:
-Horses will enter and each get a number.
-I will use Random.org to get one number.
-The number will be compared with the horses, and the horse with that number is the winner.

What do you guys think?

It's an interesting idea, but I probably wouldn't enter. Because well I spend all of my credits on training and I wouldn't use them on something were it isn't very likely that I would win. Everyone would be entering because of the low fee and would probably be entering the max number of horses, 4.
