Currency And Freezer
Currency can be used to buy many things here at Dragon Island!

~What is our Currency? And whats with the "Freezer"~

Our currency here at Dragon Island are MB or "meat bits"! They are dragons after all! Any purchases from breeding services to nest spots to customs and so on use meat bits.

The freezer is where all meat bits are kept frozen until you wish to "spend them", simply put, its a way to keep track of who has what!




~Exchange~

How you obtain meat bits is done by one of three ways. One way is by events where, they may be given out at random, or won! The second is via exchange and the third is via currency trades!

Here are the current exchange rates for MB

WL bonus = +2 MB per
(If you send two of the same WL, only one counts for the bonus)
Event Tokens = 7 MB per SPENDABLE token (only tokens that are currently spendable aka current holiday tokens)
Horde pet bonus = +2 for every horde pet (WL bonus is negated since my hordes ARE on my WL)

I do accept currency trades! We trade on an even ratio. Some people make things take a lot of currency but offer a lot of currency per exchange. Values are all depending. We can come to an even trade that will make both of us happy! (I take into consideration the work the artists may have to do with the amount of your currency I (Northern Malagon) will receive to try and make it even!)

But please understand that I may not be interested in doing currency trades as some adopts pages I may not want to take part in at the moment. Please be respectful if I decline

Breeding
Here is where you can bring your dragons, to make more little baby dragons!

~Basic Breeding Breakdown~
Breeding can be simple...or complicated! But in the end it all boils down to one simple factor...two dragons. You must have two of your own dragons in order to breed, or have permission from another Dragon Island member to use one of their dragons. Permission must be shown in order for the breeding to be accepted and added to the list! To breed a dragon you also need a nest space.

Nest spaces determine how many eggs your dragon will lay (regardless of rarity factors). Small nests equal one egg, the medium nest equals two eggs while the large nest equals 3 eggs.

Rarity and Genetics

The rarity of your dragon determines what your eggs will hatch into, for example, an uncommon and rare dragon may breed, but the eggs will only hatch into either the mother or fathers species. The only way around this is if you have a "Rare Coin" item, which will allow you to pick any of the in-between rarity's of your dragons species (No lower or higher rarity may be picked). A "Hybrid Stone" negates all rarity's and mixes the genetics of both parents into one new/hybrid dragon, there is no telling what it may end up looking like!

Coloration also plays a large role in what your dragon will look like. The colors may end up with any combination, stay the same as one parent while picking up the pattern of the other parent, or mixing (blue and yellow may end up making a green color).

Expect a wait time of a week or two for eggs to hatch!

"Wow, this IS a rare coin! This add-on allows you to pick between any of the two parents rarity categories and make one offspring become that breed! (Example: Rare x Common = pick any rare to common kind of dragon) You may NOT pick a higher or lower rarity category than what the two parents fall under. Please be sure when requesting a rare coin, you list what species you want your dragon to be.

Customs
Looking for a dragon that fits your own unique style? A custom is what you want!

The open sign will say OPEN even if some slots are closed, this is because I open up 3 slots at two different times of the day to give all a chance. So wait until the slots say open please, or your request will be denied.



~Prices~

Pricing all depends on the rarity of the dragon. The rarer the dragon, the more expensive it is.

Common dragon = 10 MB
Uncommon dragon = 15 MB
Rare dragon = 20 MB
Very Rare dragon = 25 MB
Elder dragon = 30 MB




Specific Custom Restrictions

--- Elder Royal Dragons are the ONLY species that can be custom ordered with armor like markings! Other species MAY develop armor like markings ONLY via breeding with an elder royal that has those armor style markings.




~Rules and Ordering~


--You are only allowed to request 1 dragon per order. Once your order is finished, you may request more.

--If you order a custom, you are expected to wait ONE ROUND of custom in between each order. Your name will be listed on the "barred" section, showing that you can not order for the following round. This is to let every one have more of a chance at ordering customs since some people are just too quick!




Here is the forum you fill out to have your custom made. Please be as neat as you can, and as descriptive as you can. If we don't get much info, we will use our artistic liberty to finish your dragon. There is also a form for a fully artistic liberty dragon (meaning our artists will come up with the design/colors on their own, giving you a surprise dragon!) If your dragon does not have horns for example do not fill out the spot for the horns.

~Adopt a dragon~

Would you like to adopt a dragon? You have come to the right place, here we find unwanted dragons that are put for adoption by their owners! Some times our Dragon Island staff may find a random WILD dragon and if its tame enough, place it in there for adoption as well. All adoptions are FREE of change, that's right, you do not need any MB to adopt!

~Some Basic Reminders~

-Some dragons may be listed with specific member requirements, check below the dragons code to make sure there is nothing else listed that you need to follow!
-If your form is not filled out correctly, We will ask you to please re-read it and fill it out again, and submit it. During this time (after I have stated it was filled out INCORRECTLY) the dragon is still open to adopt, so please, if you really want it, make sure you fill it out correctly and fully the first time or else someone may get it before you!
-Only one dragon per day! (Going by CS's site time)

Dressing Rooms
Some bling for your dragon friends!

The dressing rooms are

Each item bought is HAND DRAWN onto your dragon. This is because, there are simply too many breeds to make a base for each dragon, and then we have hybrids, that are unique every time. The look may very slightly on each dragon.

Once an item is on your dragon, it will not be removed. So if you want both your dragon with an item, and with out it, you also need to keep track of the old code for that dragon as well since new code will be made for the dragon wearing the item.

There is the main form you must fill out, then each item will have an add-on form that must also be filled out for that specific item (this helps keep it organized if you are buying more then two items)

Adventuring

Welcome to adventuring, I can see that adventures itch in you. You want to take your dragon companion and hit the trail, or blaze a new one, in hopes of finding some long forgotten treasure! Well pack your bags, and be off! Its time to go adventuring!!!


~What does adventuring do?~

Adventuring allows you and your dragon, to set off on an epic quest to find rare and valuable treasure!

You and your dragon may find things such as, other dragons to adopt, items to dress your dragon, dragon backgrounds, breeding items, or meat bits! Its all luck really, because there is a chance...you may find NOTHING!


~How to adventure~

If you want to explore, you must own at least one dragon before you can. The world outside of your village is chalk full of wild dragons, and its not safe to go alone. Simply fill out the adventuring form, and get going!

It takes you and your dragon 1 full week to go adventuring and return home.
During this time, your dragon may not do the following actions:
-Be dressed
-Breed

And since you are gone on an adventure, you may not have more then one dragon adventuring at a time!
You must also take one weeks break in between each adventure. This means you can adventure a max of 2 times per month!
