Scamps' Foal Auction!
Welcome to Scamps' auction! The auction is for both H10.3 and the BOBB. This auction is a bunch of foals I'm making for either wishlist pets for the breeding barn, or points. You can bid with either. So, if you are not part of H10, then you can bid with pets, if you are part of the BOBB or you wish to become part of the BOBB. If you are part of H10, you can bid with points of pets, your choice. Some things though: If you get the foal, if MUST be used at either H10 or the BOBB. DO NOT let it waste in the corner. This foal does not go offsite. Don't remove Spocky's siggy. Do changes to the foal. Keep in mind, this paragraph is basically the rules and info. xD So, let's get down to business. People can bid until Feb. 27. Then I will cut off bids and decide which bid I think best, through points and pets. Below are the current foals:

As it's nearing weekly competition results time again, would like to mention something. Because Shadey is busy in real life, there is only 1st-5th of each month to train horses. Which means until then, all horses will have the same skill level. So the weekly results will be the same all month until the new month. Following me so far? As no horses skills have changed, neither have the results. That's why I thought having luck a part of it might make it a bit more interesting. Luck won't mean that horses with very few skills can beat high-level horses, and if there is a fairly big point gap between horses (15+) the results can't change. Luck may only affect whether you get 1st or 2nd place, or 4th or 5th place, something like that. It won't bring in any drastict changes, and if you have spent lots of money on points, if you really do have a horse with more points then others, (15+) then your horse won't be affected. Luck will make the results vary a bit throughout the month, instead of the same people winning 3 or 4 comps in a row. Another idea I came up with (since it seems people both dislike and like luck equally) is to alternate weeks, every other week have luck, and the other weeks have it just normal. Even with luck, it's not likely to change much. In fact, I tested it out on a few of last weeks results. Here's what happened, just so you all can see:

I rolled a dice twice for every comp. If the numbers were the same both rolls, then I decided that there would be some 'luck' happen. now from here there are still several things to figure out before we even think about putting it into play. Should luck always be negative, or could it be positive? If negative, then we just keep going, but if it could be both, I would roll a die again. If it's even, then something positive can happen(example: a horse can 'challenge' the horse with the ranking above it if the points are within 15.) if negative, the horse can be 'challenged by the horse below it, if within 15 points. Just to try it out, I'm going to roll the die. It's positive. Now, the only comp that will have luck happen, (I already rolled for all of them) is trotting. 1st and 2nd are within 15 points, and so are 4th and 5th. Now I'm not sure how this next part would be calculated, we haven't got that far into figuring it out. Any ideas?

Just to give you an idea of how much luck would actually effect the results, because it seems many of you are worried that points won't come in to play so far. Of all the results, luck would only have effected one or two placings.

It's a good idea if you do it that way. I think this sounds better than what was being said earlier.
