... You know what's really strange to think about?

In a few years, I'll have been a member of CS for half of my life

(Too bad I can't celebrate that when it happens since it'd give away my age =P)

tfw CS turns 10 next year. 10 years. This is so weird to think about in general. When I joined I certainly didn't expect to stick around for such a long time - it's longer than I've been active on any other site.

Looking back I always want to say that I was pretty young when I joined. I always have to remind myself that being a teenager on here is actually average, huehue. I think it's in part because on most of the sites I used to frequent before coming here, the majority of people I interacted with tended to be older than me. Not by much, usually, but enough.

Back then I definitely wouldn't have expected still being here after turning adult, but in hindsight I can't say it's surprising.

Seriously, I don't feel like an elder on CS. I feel like '08-'09s only get that title.

Well, we're 5+ years old. I feel like once we reach 7 years we can call ourselves "elders". Ah, I must admit; I do fancy that title ^^

I see 2010 and 2011 peeps as elders, knowledge-/experience-wise =P but you guys are always gonna be wittle babies to me

until I see members from 2014 and later and I'm like "oh um y'all aren't really babies, I guess"

That's how I feel, too! It's strange to meet more and more people who seem to be younger than me. Meeting people who are younger than me used to be the exception, but now it's almost the norm o_____o

I remember one thing from my registration. And that is my first tought about staff pets: "Oh! Why so many? I will adopt only 3 of them." .... Years later I am still punching my head against the wall, if I only was really playing and not just "adopt these three and put it on my blog for months" I would really have some '10 or older pets easier >.<

Makes me feel kinda old that the Medieval Faire was six years ago. And wow, the boards are moving so fast these days!
We're also pretty close to 500,000 users..

Oh my, I remember only being able to adopt from the pound once every 24 hours!
I also remember the Medieval Faire event like it was yesterday...can't believe it's been 5-6 years since then!

I remember when the dressup system wasn't a thing... I also remember the first event I ever experienced back in 2013. I remember the trade forum being extremely busy and getting 5 trades a minute. I thought I was famous!

This thread actually gives me a cool idea for an event...
