Z O D A N E S ?
Zodanes, also called angler dogs by some, are large mammals that have recently been discovered in multiple different locations. Many believe that the species was known before, but was never identified due to the fact that the animal's appearance varies for almost every individual. Scientists began to notice one reoccurring pattern on these beasts, and that was the long, glowing appendages protruding from their back, hence them being nicknamed after the angler fish. They are still very rare and are currently being held as domestic animals to create more awareness of the species.

Rare - Extra eyes, horns, two tails, fairly accessorized
Very Rare - Multiple limbs, multiple tails, no pupil, heavily accessorized and edited

► Lineart edits on the tail, mane, expression, ears, fur length, etc. are very welcome! However please refrain from editing the basic shape of the Zodane such as the position and body shape.
► Do not completely redraw the Zodane. Please only edit the lineart.
► It is encouraged that you draw your own background to suit the Zodane, but not required.
► Do not remove my signature.
► Remove the 'Zodane Adopts' title before posting.
► Your colour palette is not restricted to the 5 boxes in the top corner, however, if you do go over 5,
make sure to add more boxes!

Moderators - May request any open artist to create up to 2 customs for you.

N O T P E R M I T T E D
► Zodanes are not a currency, so don't use them as one. Selling Zodanes for art, trading them, or using them as a payment in any way is prohibited and will result in a strike.
► Please use common sense and don't ask every artist on the team to make you a custom Zodane. It's
not going to happen.
► Do not edit any part of your Zodane unless you're adding accessories. If you're particularly eager for
a certain lineart change you must contact the artist to do it for you, and they will contact then me for permission.
► Never, ever guilt trip the artist to win a Zodane. If it happens, you will be given one warning, and if it
continues you will be given a strike.
► Do not copy the Zodane design or traits for your own adoptable species.

P E R M I T T E D
► You may own up to 30 Zodanes, but can only apply for a maximum of 3 Zodanes at a time.
► You may add accessories to your Zodane, but it must be created on a separate copy of the original. (To do this, you have to ask the artist's permission and they will grant access to you)
► Please message me if you have any questions or concerns.
► You may make art of your Zodane for entries, but please know that the winner of the Zodane wins all of the tryout art.

S T R I K E S / B A N S
You will receive 3 strikes before a ban, and 1 warning before your first strike. We understand that people make mistakes,
but we want this thread to be positive and fun, so please follow the rules and just be a good person in general.

1 Strike - Your posts on Zodane threads will be monitored closely.
2 Strikes - You now have a limit of applying for 2 Zodanes at a time, and can now only adopt up to 15 Zodanes.
3 Strikes - You now have a limit of applying for 1 Zodane at a time, and can now only adopt up to 5 Zodanes.
Ban - Bans are permanent. You are no longer allowed to apply for Zodanes, post on any of the Zodane threads, or have customs Zodanes created. If you continue to disregard our rules, and your ban, the CS moderators will be contacted.
