Favorite MLP character and why: Nightmare Moon
She's actually the reason I even started watching MLP honestly. I thought she was beautiful, had a voice that I really liked, and I liked how her design differed from a lot of the other ponies. She's not quite like everyone, who in general, tried to be friends with everyone -- She's jealous, she wants things her way. I loved seeing her character through that, a character is more 3-dimentional if you give them struggles and things to be angry about. Her palette was more of colors I liked more then (I still do, but I tend to like a bit brighter colors now -- but I still have a weakness for dark themes), which was a contrast to all of the other pony designs that I had seen, I genuinely liked how different she was. I like everything about Nightmare Moon, she's a gorgeous character that I feel didn't get quite enough screen time before she was defeated.
