hey guys! three more exciting announcements:
for one, we now want to celebrate user birthdays! how? by running a monthly raffle for customs!
each month a raffle will be run for members whos birthday is during the month! so, all members who have a birthday in june can apply for the raffle this month! viewtopic.php?f=87&t=3481877
the more people that end up entering the better (more + better prizes!), so don't be afraid to share it with a friend!
I'd also like to note for people with customs, the artist hub is open! you can check there to see what artists are accepting custom requests to get your custom completed!

two, welcome SergeantWinter onto the staff team! they will be one of our judges for sweetnose mastiffs, to help keep out bias and help out any new artist who ends up joining the team! this will also make sure competitions get judged fairly quickly since they're here to help judge!

and my third announcement, being I have a question for everyone-
recently I've been trying to get sweetnose mastiffs back to where they once were, but I feel like the community is still very inactive; I want the species to be about the community and we wanna do something cool like a grand reopening event, but we don't really know what everyone would be interesting in seeing! there's a lot of areas for users to give suggestions (the discord, ask.fm, anonymous suggestions box) but we don't really see many people utlizing those, so if anyone has any thoughts on how to get more community response that would be awesome! because we're kinda at a loss right now with how to get more people involved and get back the old community here x v x
we wanna make the species great for you guys and its hard to do so without knowing what anyone wants :" > so if anyone has some input or any thoughts, please do let us know one way or another! my inbox is always open and all the areas to send suggestions are on the front page, and everyone is always welcome to join the discord and chat!

Customs can be redeemed by messaging an artist open for customs- you can see who is currently available by visiting the artist hub! The link for that is on the front page. Eventually the artist hub will be open for things such as when we get the breeding system worked out, and any future things artists would want to do!
For the prizes such as art (non custom/item related) we ask that everyone just hang in a little bit longer- given how small the staff team is (no one from gator's previous team showed interest in coming back) we have a lot on our plates to do as is! Not counting Sweetnose Mastiffs as well, since the staff we have is all working on personal things; but once we have more artists hired we can start working on those! My thoughts are that once we have more artists working on adopts and figuring out our event, then the staff who are free to do the art rewards can do them without worrying that designs won't be made in the absence ^^ The staff we have now are helping me out from the kindness of their heart and have bigger obligations elsewhere, so I don't want to cram too much stuff on them now when they're busy.

Howdy all, I'd like to make a very happy announcement!
Welcome demonthief. to the sweetnose staff team, they're joining us as a full artist and we hope everyone is as excited as we are to have them join the family!

After a bit of a wait, I would like to officially announce that Sweetnose Mastiffs are now able to breed! Some of the staff got together and we're still brainstorming and working out some things, such as how many times they can breed, but hopefully this can get everyone started for those who were interested in some puppies! You can check out the rules through the artist hub, the link being on the front page!

after deliberation, staff have come to a decision about the winner of our banner competition!

so, welcome our new banner made by jensen ackles!

as our grand prize winner, jensen will receive a full custom, any accessory of choice, and a breeding slot to both mascots!

our secondary winner and runner up is Chellerd, who will receive a semi-custom, a collar, bandanna, or harness (includes combination), and a breeding slot to either mascot!
