I'm just stopping in to introduce a few new viscets I have!

First is Shay:

Personality:
Shay is incredibly shy, and flinches towards any vocal or physical contact. She tends to get easily irritated, and fails to pick up on even obvious social cues. Around Marrock, she is much more social and outgoing, almost turning into a completely different Viscet.
Shay’s life is filled with curiosity and wonder. Due to the neglect in her childhood, she is still extremely childlike,and as a result, is fascinated with the most trivial of things. She is soft spoken and normally very sweet. She is also extremely impulsive and irrational, making split second decisions that are not the best option. Fortunately for her, Marrock can help ground her and help her think through the results of her actions.
Due to Marrock and Shay’s close friendship, Shay becomes extremely jealous when he spends time with his mate Ariana, his adopted daughter Amrie, or Ariana and Marrocks child, Whisp.  This is sadly a source of fighting for the close knit family, but Marrock insists she is a part of the family too, and tries to push them to spend more time together to further spread Shay’s social circle.
Occupation:
Shay is a conjuration specialist of the Mage’s Circle.

Next is Whispering Echoes (Whisp for short)

History:
Whisp, to his parents’ dismay, has delved into the world of dark magic. He believes that dark magic users should be able to live out in the open without fear of retaliation. He truly believes coexistance is possible. Despite warnings from the Queen herself, Whisp continues to try to vocalize his ideas to the public, receiving large amounts of backlash towards him and the entire magical community.
Personality:
Whisp is the poster child for young and naive. He believes if he pushes hard enough, people will eventually accept his views. When it doesn’t work, he becomes incredibly irate, irrational, and snarky. He lashes out and puts people down for them having their own views, and says terrible and hurtful things without even realizing the pain his words bring.
Whisp is also curious and takes every moment he has to try something new. He has played around with all fields of magic, as well as swordsmanship, archery, smithing, horsemanship, and much more. He has dabbled in penmanship, and painting, as well as singing and music composition. Some may call him a prodigy, but he insists that he just has a desire to know everything. Unfortunately, it’s this desire for knowledge that lead Whispering Echoes to the dark side of magic. Luckily, he doesn’t follow the deity of dark magic, Brigor. Instead, he uses his power to gain favor from Jaya, the dark mistress of knowledge. Because of this, he has not been imprisoned for crimes against viscet-kind, as only allegiance towards Brigor is banished.

Lastly is Gale: (he still needs more development)

Occupation:
Gale is the Captain and Commander of the Royal Navy. He ensures the surrounding oceans of the kingdom are free from invading attackers. He loves everything about the sea, and has not set foot in his kingdom for years, sending his crew to fetch more provisions for future expeditions so they can set sail again.
Personality:
Gale is fun loving, with a large desire for adventure. He loves exploring the open oceans and the islands and lands he comes across during his travels. His captain's quarters are filled with small trinkets and souvenirs from all his adventures. He has a photographic memory, so he can easily recall how he obtained each and every one.

Okay, I'm doing something I haven't done in a long time: looking for mates outside of my Viscets!

Zen is very peaceful and prefers not to use violence unless absolutely necessary. She's a monk in Nepal and helps people who are troubled. Zen is pansexual!


Gabriel is very quiet and adores butterflies. Butterflies are the way to his heart. Gabriel is looking only for other males!


Jasper is very loving and absolutely adores Visclings. He's the spitting image of a father and is the father figure to many at the school he works at. He's looking for ladies!

Hello. I don't believe I have posted here before, or if I have, it has been a while. I am so honored to be a guest artist for this month and I can't wait. This is such a friendly place to be. Everyone is so kind. c:

Anyhow, I was wondering for future reference if you guys like competitions that include art or not. I know that sometimes it feels like art is irreplaceable, while writing can be re-molded to fit other completions or contests. It is true that some people believe that spending the time to make art wasn't worth it if they don't win. What does the community think about this concept. Art or no art?

I heard true knight already PMed you, but I will also write it here, just in case anyone else should be confused too
Viscet batches don't work like Kalon batches, you don't have to find someone who grows them for you
They will grow automatically, except you request them not to, then they can be turned into a PPS that will never grow.
Abandoned batches can be PPS if the artist decides so. They can be recognized by the blue "PPS" written on their ref, as well as their lines - the lines standing on all fours are only used for PPS babes, not for still growing ones
Abandoned PPS batches can never be grown (at least as for now they can't). Bred ones can, with a special "reverse PPS potion" that currently has only been given out during the Anniversary Event and is not available for purchase

Okay so now to introduce my Viscets that I have so far!

So this guy here is Chris and he's a drama queen and is very opinionated! He's a very sweet and kind to others, but just don't make him mad or else you might get into a huuuge argument or cause a dramatic fit..... He loves cuddles and is overall a unique viscets.
And he has one art so far, but that'll change very soon! This art is by Yugi!



This girl right here is a rebel and a very well known prankster! She is a tomboy and doesn't have manners. She just loves to have fun a cause trouble and doesn't know when to stop having fun! Overall she's a very hyperactive viscet!
No art for her yet sadly But I'm working on it! (Meaning I'm gonna make some art of her)


This is one of my newest viscets, Aiyana! She is a very calm viscet that is very serious and likes peaceful things and people (when I say people I mean humans and viscets) who are not obnoxious or hype, there's only a few people she gets along with that are hyper and obnoxious, ect... and she's very nice to people and tries her best to be the kindest as possible and she rarely ever get's upset, and when she gets upset it's usually for a good reason! Overall this viscet will probably be one of the only viscets of mine that are this calm XD

i haven't introduced myself here yet, so i thought i'd finally get to it today ;w;

on another, unrelated note to the above:
i've been trying to motivate myself to try and sketch something small at least once a day
my art's pretty bad & i get frustrated when things don't work out/look exactly like i want them to look
yes, i know, being impatient and easily frustrated and a perfectionist are perfect artist traits lmao
so i've been thinking, and decided to offer some free sketches to owners of adopts i also have at least one of
they'll most likely be sad little traditional/digital sketches, but if i'm satisfied with it, i might line it digitally (and perhaps even flat colour it)
the type of art also depends - most likely it'll be a head/bust shot, but maybe you'll get a fullbody piece, who knows lmao

considering that i have a full time job & never know when i feel like doing art, i can't say for sure when you'll get your piece
but since i won't be asking for anything in return, i feel like that makes up for possibly having to wait a while? idk, you tell me

so, long story short, i'm offering sad art pieces so i can get some lowkey forced, much needed practice

@Unleashed Squid I have anyways loved doing competitions with art! Although I haven't been active in awhile, when I was I drew 'cets all the time so it was fun when I could incorporate an art piece into my form. Hope this helps!

OK, so I haven't been active on CS or with Viscets in almost 2 months, and I feel bad, because I just love everyone in the CS community/viscet community, but I felt that I needed a break, I just felt burnt out and wasn't interested in viscet comps or my viscets stories I was making. But now I'm back!! And I hope to be posting much more often and getting back into the community! It feels good to be back<3
