Hey guys. I'm really sorry this hasn't been updated in forever. When I took over these threads I had no idea I was going to be hired as a moderator and I just can't seem to be able to find the time to handle them. Additionally, I don't really believe in the mission behind these threads anymore and no longer wish to be a part of this project. If you would like to own both of these threads (OMG so rare and Store Pet Counting threads) please PM me and explain how you think you would be able to be a good owner. If I can't find an owner or someone who has the time to update these threads regularly I will be forced to close them down. Thanks.

It's all good, Simon. There probably isn't much point to either of the threads anyways, due to the new list being made. I believe people are going through the IDs and counting them, so the list should be pretty accurate and show how rare a pet really is.

That's what I was thinking as well :/ These lists don't even appear to be accurate due to the fact that people tend to just want to show off their most prized pets...which messes up the data.

But if someone still believes in this project they can carry it on. I just lack the time and motivation.

I am tempted to apply since I believe in both threads; I don't think they're just for showing off and bragging, but more showing how many of a pet exists. I also sadly must agree that they need new owners since it's obvious you can rather easily fall way behind in each. Yes I see this'll make me sound like a dork, but that kind of stuff is what I live for. My only problem is I don't know if I should apply.

I have mental problems offline I usually must attend to, one being signs of OCPD (a sister disorder of OCD), but the thing is... I spend far too much time on CS. And I mean far too much.

I don't want to sound bossy or like I'm bossing around, but I feel like there should be a form to fill, like when you apply for staff positions. I feel it'd be easier to read (little actually know this, but I used to do coding on sites as a kid just for fun, so forms are a very helpful tool).

I don't want these to close; they're fairly fun to check in on. There has to be another who's willing to rein these in. But, that's my two cents. 😋
