A good way to do free contests for customs, is have users will out a forme with personality, looks and etc. and you deciding which of the submitted characters inspires you most. It's more predictable than raffles where you could be bound with making character that doesnt inspire you to draw it.

I agree with Kyar's idea of palette/theme! 0: I think that would be a lot of fun! Perhaps a mix of those and raffles? I'm terrified of fcfs slots, but they're also a pretty good idea xD

I think a credit system would work? Like we can do some kind of daily activity or two that earns xxx amount of ___ that we can cash into customs later on. Every can do it, easy, and a little less overly competitive. Plus there can be other activities that could have a higher cash out if you want to make it more random and fun?

Agreed with Kyar Raffle and palette adopts would be cool.

Or maybe a Easter hunt where the user with the most eggs wins or a certain special egg will automatically give a custom if found.
