How do you make your lines so smooth looking? My lines are so sharp, and when I adjust them to smooth, it's like the color turns lighter and the opacity turns down. Am I the only one that had this problem?

I'm pretty sure I used a size 2 brush with very low (or no) smoothing, drew over all the lines multiple times, and then erased them down to the thickness I wanted. The eraser seems to work better than the line tool in terms of smoothness!
