so this has been a long time coming, but it took a lot of time to figure out whether we could make this properly work into a feasible idea. and I think we have figured it out.

I'm announcing the addition of "The Hatchery" which is an extension of the Nursery that will alternate with the nursery openings. (So each other month the other will be open) The Hatchery is for adopting orphaned eggs, and this idea was specifically put in place to add those pairings/couples who want children but cannot breed / produce biological offspring with their partners. While any pairings will be able to utilize the Hatchery, the first 5 days of each opening will be specifically for those infertile / same biological gender mates/pairings only. The Hatchery will only be open for 15 days each month it's open, the first 5 again only for infertile pairings, the other 10 days anyone can post - including single viscets who want to be a parent but do not/have not found a mate. We hope you enjoy this new addition. The grand opening will be March 1st, when a member of staff posts to open it, so we sure to read and well verse yourself with all the rules! [The Hatchery]
aka: The Orphan Adoption Center

Here, orphaned eggs are gathered by kind rescuers; perhaps their parents are not known, or perhaps their anonymous caretakers are no longer able to care for them. However it is, these orphaned babs are eager to find a new home.

How does it work? Well, it works very similarly to regular breedings! Just scroll down to the Submissions page to find the form for Adopting. Rather than selecting 2 parents to breed, you select (a parent or) 2 parents to adopt, as well as the 1 egg you wish to adopt; but there's a specialty--any pair of any biological gender can adopt an Orphan. The egg will be removed from the list, and a new one cycled in to replace it; it will be recorded like any normal submission, and completed by an artist like normal.

The page is my 'idea dump' story. If I can find proper relationships or something strikes my fancy she may change, though this was the general idea I had to begin with. (Though I kind of also wanted her to be a little sea nymph too...but I'll stick with this for now.)

She's a fun little thing who has no memory. She is adventurous and fun-seeking, loves singing and dancing, fashion and jewelry. Though she has forgotten her past life there are things that more or less became instinctive for her, such as her sword-skills. She is also fairly good at determining when someone is causing problems or might be doing something they shouldn't be. (Such as shifty eyes or 'shady' behavior.) She's always happy, even when she is fighting, which she likes to do often. She may seek out a sword fight without even realizing she is. Most of the time it is all good fun, though.

She is actually based on a character I used to RP a long time ago so her information was already worked out, though I changed a good bit of it around so she could become a viscet and fit into my world. Her story may change a bit as it's late and I just 'threw up' information on the page. It may not seem terribly organized either...but I will work on it as I go.


She is cold and stoic, never smiling, never stopping for small talk. Most people avoid her, especially if they know who she is (She's fairly infamous in my world/land.) She is a 'Maid of God' and is charged by a Church in 'cleaning up' the 'evil' in the world. This means demonic spirits, vampires, werewolves, spirits, or anything else that might be deemed 'evil'. She may or may not agree with the things she does, but she really doesn't have a choice in the matter. She simply keeps going and tries to tell herself that those she kills can not harm another, now.

Dove took in my pps Ronia during a vicious flood/thunder storm that left Ronia really shook up. As of now Ronia is pretty much the only thing Dove cares about, though anyone that sees the two simply think that Ronia is Dove's 'servant.




Anyway...If you have friend offers let me know. I'd love to work out something to maybe help me further develop these two (Or any other viscet I have).

Do you have any viscets based off of another character?
Boris is not based off anyone really, his personality and name are things I came up with on my own
Anli on the other hand is based on an overwatch character (I personally don't play, but I kinda like Tracer's basic character concept and mainly just her design)

Were you ever inspired by anything when coming up with a story/background for your viscets?

For Boris, I kinda just based him off me and things people enjoy in upstate NY 😂(I don't live in Upstate NY anymore though)

Anli has a bit of mash-up from different Mangas. Her background focuses on family affairs and big businesses with the whole marrying for business and taking over the role of head of the house in the future. She's heavily based on the Tang Dynasty era and old traditions with knew meanings.

So I thought that I would stay longer without taking a sort of hiatus from Viscets. Seemed like I was proved wrong.
Anyways, I need some "me-time" to myself, as well as to get over some stuff that's been happening to me. Most of them negative, but eh,,
I won't disappear completely, so its more like a semi-hiatus. I'll still be trying out for new Viscets if they catch my eye, but I probably won't be posting in the fan club or doing anything too drastic. The pressure of irl things as well as seeing the results for Viscet tryouts is a bit much for me, so,,, yeah,,,,
When I come back, I might open up coding commissions or something as apology for poofing. I dunno.
