I'm worried about the spawn points, too. My dratini candies are at like 15, which is my most problematic pokemon so far. I hope they will up the rate of 10km eggs with this release, so maybe I can actually get my first snorlax.

So far I'm only missing muk, machamp, gyarados, omastar, snorlax and the dratini evos. And some of the baby pokemon. Muk, machamp and gyarados aren't a huge problem, the omastar and dratini are the tough ones. And snorlax.. hoping that eventually I'd be lucky with 10km eggs.

At least I have 2 Dratini and 1 Dragonair, so I could make one my buddy and then work my work towards a Dragonyte. So not toooo worried about them. I actually have a chance to get it. :\

If I remember correctly in the one interview they said 1vs1 fights and trading will come soon too, as well as more events (not just major ones like Valentine/Halloween/Christmas). So I hope for increased spawn rates during mini events.

Same, same... i have 30/30/40 balls. This will totally be reduced to 0/0/0 if Gen 2 spawns are massive.

mmm yess.... pls increase fossil/dratini spawns.... I havent even seen dragonair, and it's my favorite of them.

if trading does happen soon, I wonder what people would take for a snorlax/the dratini family. I hope demand isn't insane.

oh my god you all are a blessing if it weren't for this thread i would have no idea about gen 2. both my parents and i all play pokémon go as much as we can and love the game so we're all so excited for gen 2. thank you guys soooo much for posting on here <3

Oh my....
I went to load the game for my walking spree today, and was hit with a 60.92 MB update.
Looks like our apps are being preped.

I hope we get /at least/ 50 regular pokeballs when the launch happens.
After how screwed over us Rural players are already, I'd like to think they would put some amount of foresight into launching Gen 2.

wow it's so weird seeing non-gen1 pokemon for a change

edit: is it just me or does ball throwing feel different? I'm missing a lot more than I did before.
Huh and I got an error when the ball finally hit and now I'm back to the map and my balls are still used :')

edit #2: yeah the game seems to be pretty much broken rn
I tried to evolve my golbat, it took my candies and gave me another error
