Welcome to JAAC! I have only been on this game for a month or so, and have explored a ton. The one thing I noticed were many amazing adoption centers for unused pets! I actually got one of my beloved characters from one! But today I got thinking...are those REALLY like adoption centers? I have been involved with our local humane society for quite some time now, and I can be the first to tell you you don't just pick a pet and take it home. The pet needs to choose you. So I am starting up this adoption center like a real one should be. You can choose which pets you would 'prefer', but the pet must choose you to be a perfect match. So, lets get started on finding you your forever friend. We will choose owners once there has been at least 2 submissions on each adoption, or a 2 week period has past.

- Please do not harass me or any of the staff! You will be immediately blocked from the JAAC community.
- When adopting a pet, please try to fill out the form as carefully as possible, don't try to match your form to the character you'd like to adopt the most.
- If you are looking to rehome this character, please contact a mod/staff member immediately! We will be sure to find another loving home for the pet.
- Do not rehome your pet without us knowing! You will be immediately blocked from the JAAC community.
- Each pet has a unique personality, so please do not whine about which pet you get. We will do our best to match you with the pet we feel would be the best match, and you are welcome to pass and try again in another 48 hours if you wish.
- If you are blocked, please do not post on this thread, or any others relating to the JAAC in any way, or you may be reported to the site staff.
- When donating a character, please fill out the personality section as clearly and in-depth as possible. This will greatly help us match him/her with the perfect owner!
- Do not claim, redistribute, or rewrite any of the JAAC rules, adoption area, or Forever Friends page, or you will be immediately blocked from the JAAC community and possibly reported.
So, now that we have that out of the way, lets go over some of the things you need to know about adopting/donating!
Adopter's Policy
Adopters should never give away/sell/rehome their matched pet without the JAAC permission. You will get blocked from the JAAC community and be banned from posting on any of our threads. Good adopters get art of their pets, play with them in RPs, and give them a loving home in a character thread, along with a well thought out story. Before we give you rights to your pet, you are required to seal the deal with a 200+ word story on the character. You may PM me that story, or one of our staff members.
Here is the form for submitting to adopt. Please fill it out as carefully and in-depth as possible.

As long as I am with the people I love, I am never in a bad mood. I love to go horseback riding, draw, write, and sing! Many people call me the 'rebel', but I don't know where they get that from...maybe from the fact that I love to pull pranks. That's my way of telling someone I care...but sometimes it doesn't turn out that way ^^.
Your favorite color(s): I love ice blue, lime green, dark grey, brown, and light pink. I also LOVE vintage looks, so pinks and muted tones are great!
Your favorite breed/species: I adore horses, as well as giraffes and monkeys.
Sparkledog or all natural?: I prefer natural, but it depends on the sparkledog.

Donater's Policy
Donaters should keep in mind that when giving up the pet, they are allowing another user to adopt him/her. You can have preferences, though keep in mind we choose the match, so be ensured they will get the best possible home. Try to fill out the form as much as possible, as well as posting a picture(s) of the pet, and maybe some of their history so the new owner knows what they can base their story on.

Personality: Untrusting of others, very wary, though is eager to fight at any chance if he is sure it is for the right reasons. Aryu loves to fly with his human owner, and adores a clear blue sky. When with friends, Aryu is a fun guy to be around, but is still a tiny bit wary.
Favorite Things: Flying, Swimming, Coke, Oranges, Cameras, though hates having his picture taken.
History/Story: I was cold. Hungry. Tired. Just waiting for someone, something, to rescue me from this horrible place.
I am a gryphon, one of the last of our kind actually. My mother was hunted and killed soon after I was born, so I have had to fend for myself. Life was good in the mountains. There was plenty of food, many kind creatures of all sorts, and there was never a bad day. Until they came. The humans.
As soon as I was about 1 year old, my wings were fully developed, and I have always wanted to venture out of the mountains. The others warned me, but I took no notice. Once I had eaten, gotten a good nights sleep, I was off. You will never know that feeling of soaring through the sky, completely free, with not a care in the world. I had gone a bit to far though, and I didn't know how to get back. I swooped lower, and I could see these strange places, they were like rocks, but completely square. And humans were walking in and out of them. I was to busy thinking about this weird place, and I didn't see the plane ahead of me. All I remember is a large pain in my stomach. I could barely breathe, and then all went black.
Next thing I knew, I was in a small area. I attempted to fly out, but there was this strange, shiny mesh around me, like I was trapped in. I called out for anyone who would hear me, but I got no reply. Suddenly, one of them appeared. They had a long stick, and he was putting something in it. His white coat was blinding, and he pointed the stick at me. I attempted to run, but the mesh was holding me in. I heard a loud pop, and a sharp pain in my shoulder. It all faded away, but not completely. I remember them poking me, strapping me down and pumping fluids into my veins. I tried to escape, believe me. I finally gave up and let them do what they wanted with me. Once they were finished, I started to wake up. They shoved me back into my cage and closed the large door onto it. This was how I lived. For five years.

We are currently looking for Donations , Staff, and Mods! Due to our grand opening, we really don't have much of a support system going on, and very few pets available for adoption! Please PM me personally to see if you qualify for becoming a staff member (Helps me choose the pet's homes) or mod, or you may post the form below if you would like to donate a character.
