Story on how they got together: They met by hunting for prey, and got into a little scuffle about a snake worm, which escaped without either of them catching it. They were bitter rivals at first due to that incident, but soon came to grudgingly accept each other as friends, and eventually mates. Ramhorn still teases Cardinal about her being pouty about the little snake worm that got away.
Favorite place to be together: They love to curl up together and watch the sunset and see the stars come out.
Favorite meal to share together: Their favorite meal is fish bird eggs.

I love how people think the bird is partnered with a ram, its really a cow. Got inspired by a weird valentines day story called the Cardinal and the Bull.

Looks way more like a Ram than it does a bull xD
So I am going with a Ram cause it is much more touching

The story, basically, was that cupid found this lonely old bull, who's never been in love, and decided to fix that, so he lead a group of cows to him and shot him with a love arrow, but the bull instead of looking at one of the cows, looked towards cupid and saw the cardinal near cupid. The bull fell in love with the bird and followed the bird where ever it went. And cupid when he realized what happened, went after them to fix the mistake. And even after he shot the bull with an arrow to break the spell, the bull still followe the cardinal, and when cupid asked why, the bull told cupid that no matter the form love takes, it always works in mysterious ways, so even if they're to seperate species, he still wanted to get to know the cardinal, to see if they'd either work as a couple, or at least be friends, because thats all he wanted, was a companion. And the cardinal over heard this and came over, perching on the bulls horns and telling him that while the bull was to big to be her mate, she'd still love to be his companion because she'd been alone for a long time too.
And thus, the story of the Cardinal and The Bull.
