YOUR QUESTION:Hi so we are learning about confidence intervals and confidence levels, and I still don't know the difference. Could someone please explain and maybe add some tips on how to remember these? c:
The names of those terms should help a bit

The confidence interval is the interval, and the confidence level is the level of confidence--you can think of it as the number you associate with how confident you feel on a "scale" of 1% to 100%.
You usually get the interval after you decide your confidence level, although some problems may give you an interval plus other necessary information and then ask you to figure out the confidence level. I'm not sure. But when you're working out problems, you definitely want to decide on the level of confidence first.
Say your confidence level is 95%. Then maybe you get the interval (3 units, 7 units) (can also be written (5 +- 2) units
umm imagine that +- is the proper plus-minus sign haha)
Also, be sure to remember that for the same data set, a higher confidence level means a wider interval, and a lower confidence level means a narrower interval! Can be tricky to internalize at first due to colloquial usage of "confident"

Spread the word to end the word, because discrimination based on perceived or actual IQ/"intelligence" is no better than discrimination based on race, gender, etc.
Context, consistency, and clear antecedents are golden.
