discord is an app much similar to skype; im pretty bad at explaining, but i think a bit of poking around on the site and you could get a semi-decent idea about it. its pretty much a more "advanced" skype if you will. although, if im not mistaken, its not allowed on CS because of its similarities to skype (and various other messaging apps).
