Gonna have this cut a bit short, I've got some pretty nice news!
I was recently gifted this boy Jacon! He's a trouble make who loves to mess around with others, need to get more info for all of my viscets.... And yes Jacon will be open for any relations ^_^



But other than that, I was wondering if anyone had any links or tips to how to draw the viscet anatomy, since I'm going to start doing some traditional pieces for practice to improve ^_^

I've got C$291 which I'm pretty sure should be enough for the myo to trade for in DA points. I'm looking for someone to help me out, and I can add a couple pets if anyone would be willing to help please do! So what I'm hoping to do is trade the person the C$, plus some other pets if needed for 1800 da points or the MYO T2 ticket itself. @~Phantom - Congrats on the new addition, I like how his chest is all fiery like lava or magma and his tail is a lava/magma flow.

Kind of popping in again to show this little pixel animation I did of Wyzenia. She gets annoyed and irritated easily when she has to stand guard or watch. She gets a habit of huffing when irritated as well.


Just answering some questions as well.

Who is one artist in the Viscet community who has inspired you or you really like? Why do you like them and their art style?
Oh wow, I can't say that there is just one. There's quite a few who just make me stare in wonder and awe and then there's a couple who I in a way look up to or see as my role model. I mainly think is that they're just really kind, caring, and easy going, for the ones who's art I would stare in wonder and awe is mostly because they would have much much more experience than I would.
Is there any Viscet trait or mutation that you just can't seem to draw correctly? Do you happen to have a Viscet with this trait?
Not really, I don't exactly find alot of faults when drawing something, it's usually that I don't really like drawing mutations that have variants of their original design like manes horns and stuff since I find it very time consuming to keep accurate.
And finally, is there a type of art that you want to try that you never have? (Doesn't necessarily have to do with Viscets. Some examples could be animation, sculpting, writing...)
There is somethings although I wouldn't exactly want to say it out loud since one of them is something I have not touched in a couple years and the rest are things that I haven't quite figured out yet.
What's you favorite viscet color's/patterns?
Mmm I think there's a alot of colors and patterns I like. If I had to narrow it down then my favorite patterns would be Riskain, Ren, Damien, and Susano's markings. For colors it would have to be Wynsdrrawr, Raze, Iwan, and Artorias. But really I love them all.

Do you like mutations more or the mainstream 'normal' look?
They're both alright it kind of depends on the design of things and how they're paired.

What viscet would you steal if you could?
I don't know to be honest.

I'm in a comp, although I'm unsure if there's any that I would like to enter and announce.

They kind of depend on my mood ^^' I kind of don't really enter comps as much as I used to.

What kind of viscet would you like to see/what's something you'd like to see one based on?
I'm not too sure but I'd love for a star blind viscet (like Zeus the owl's eyes) but the sight would be character wise.

It's not perfect, I think it's missing toes lol

{Announcement}
As all of you know, we have recently hired on four trial artists for the nursery. Now that the nursery is closed and nearly all the batches completed, I and the rest of the staff feel it's time to announce who will be our new nursery artists. All of them did a fantastic job, and start to finish have been very reliable and helpful this month. So I'd like for everyone to welcome our new official nursery artists: true knight, james., milo., & cyberdragon725. The staff collectively feels that each of you are a great asset to both our team and our community, so congratulations!

Our nursery artists competition is still on-going, and we've gotten some entries but we could always use more. If you feel like you'd do good as a member of our nursery team, and/or love designing second generation babes then we encourage you to apply! <3

And one last announcement. It's been a little while since they initially joined, but I feel it's time to announce it officially that the following Nursery artists can now do both Main thread adopts as well as Nursery. Grifforik, who wasn't officially announced but has been free to make main thread adopts and likely will continue to do so. Placebo, who has made a couple main thread designs but wasn't ever officially announced. and ~Trompy, who hasn't done any main thread yet, but I look forward to seeing what they do. Thank you all for your diligent and continued good work.
