Wow. I just worked really hard on this story for 21, but I just fell head-over-heels in love with the last one. How gorgeous. I think I might just have to quit the current one and go for that one. She is just amazing... Crap, that was so much work ;_;
Oh well. I shall have you soon-to-find-a-name-for-23!

Tracker Dog you want:#22
Name You'll give it:Sniper for his quick swiftness, and ability to not be seen or heard in dire situations.
Reoson why you want it:
Colors
The green reminds me of my love for nature, and the effect of chemicals and my love of science. The gray along with the green reminds me of my adventurous demenoir.I just love the chemical sign on the shoulders and think that it is the cherry on the Sundea^^

Backround
I think that it's so sweet that this Tracker loves to be with his sister,so it makes perfect sense to include her in the story as a character^^

Looks
I just adore how the white brings out the green! The color palete is beautiful, and goes together VERY well!

Will it be used in any Kind of Story:Yes,a 'second part' to his introduction on this post.He will be in other stories as well, and most including his sister.
Describe it's Personality:
Couragous
Sniper is a brave soul.Although he only fights when needed, but he can also protect his sister if nessesary. He is willing to take on hard missions, but loves relaxing, rather than fighting crime.

Kind
Sniper is VERY kind at heart, but during work he is as strict as a ox,especially when it's about his sister. He is very kind towards humans, but isn't to fond of children cause of their courios nature.

Unique Features
Sniper is special than other Trackers,he has some unique features.Sniper can jump VERY long distances and is a very fast Tracker, like his sister. He can be quiet and unseen during missions, and very quiet.

Write an Introduction for your Tracker:

I pursed my lips together,
"Lunah!Lunah!"I hissed,at the same time tring to be as quiet as possible.
"Were are you?!"I snapped as quiet as I could. My paws quivered on the cold grass,I hadn't heard any answers from Lunah.I smelled the air,the rabbit was near by.
"Lunah, were are you?!"I yelled agian.Still no answer.I continued walking in in the pitch black of night smelling the air.The rabbit was about three feet away.I leaned down,my head almost touching the ground.I took in a deep breath.Lunah was nowhere in range.I would have to hunt alone for tonight.I continued walking around until perched in a patch of tall grass.I rose my head and nealed down in the grass.

The rabbit was laying down by a tall tree,it was munching on grass, not knowing who was about to come.I leaned back and tucked my paws by my feet.It was quiet, only the crickets chirping symphony which rose above the grass, was all to be heard.I pulled myself back like a spring about to launch. The winds blew on my fur as the grass swayed to the dance of the air.I listened to my surroundings,a rock on my left, and a mighty oak to my right. The air blew into my ears, but I drowned out the sound of wind, and placed my focus on the rabbit.I had my target on lock and I was as focused as ever.I counted to myself in my mind,One,two,three,fou-.I launched myself outward, and bared my teeth. The rabbit had it's back turned, but it's ears rose to hear me coming. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. As my front paws touched the ground, but at the same time the rabbit bagan to spring out from it's patch of grass to begin the chase.Once my back legs touched the ground I pulled my front legs under and jumped forward. The rabbit was much quicker and swifter, but I had strength and agility.I knew just running straight wouldn't do anything,so I attempted to cut it off by making a turn.

I dashed behind a tree, but kept on the rabbit's trail.I ducked under low branches, but made sure to stay close to the small mamal.I swivled passed trees,as rain began to trinkle it's way to my body.I smelle dthe iar,and relized that the rabbit was geting closer to it's home as we ran.I had to get in front of him and cut him off from his hole.My heart raced as we ran passed rocks, twigs, and small shrubs.I breathed slowly and strached out my limbs to gather more speed.I heard another creature from behind me,but the noise passed once I came closer to the rabbit's hole.
"Sniper!"snapped a sharp tone.I turned around, but it all happened so fast.My paws tacked forward as my back legs tripped over my front legs.I was sent flying forward as my head was sent flying back almost touching my back.

I was sentflipping over the hard dirt ground, tumbling until I came to a stop and skid across the ground.By the time I had gotten to my feet my whole body hurt.I turned my head,
"Lunah?"I managed to whisper out of my mouth in a daze. The 'paint splattered' Tracker stood in front of me and smiled.
"Sorry Sniper...."appologized Lunah.I stood up and shook myself,
"Oh,it's ok.It's just that we havn't eaten ever since we started this mission! And there's our lunch running away, and NEVER COMING BACK!!!"I yelled. She looked at the ground, disapionted.I walked away furriously, but had alittlesypathy in my heart.
".......Come on."I whispered shaking my tail in a jester to come beside me.

Tracker Dog you want:

Number 23 :D

Name you'll give it:

Leakage

Reason why you want it:

I have been after a Tracker for a long time, and have a fierce wish for one. They are amazing, but this one looks perfect- I am a artists and artists live off what makes their art theirs- something called a mistake. And this one has it and it makes it perfect.

Will it be used in any kind of story?

Yes. I think it would go very well in one. The experience for her would interest many people.

Describe its personality:

Loyal:
She doesn't leave anyone behind or betray them, even when hope is lost.

Caring:
She is a gentle and kind Tracker dog, and helps care for her brother when he needs it. She has his back forever!

Smart
Easy to figure out problems and fix them.

Playful
She is very playful, but you might notice that she looks over her shoulder for something...

Write an introduction for your Tracker:

I pressed against my brother as the white gloves reached for us. I looked shakily at my brother, and swallowed. We were both failures, I thought, listening at our two completely white coats. We had always been different than the other Tracker Dogs... we had no patterns. I listened at my brothers eyes and saw the same terror. "What do we do?" I asked, throat dry. He shook his head, and the white gloves grabbed us.
They put us on these tables and strapped us down. I wailed and scrabbled, but they ignored me. They took out two tattoos, both gray toxic symbols. They wet my shoulder and placed the tattoo down. I couldn't tell where my brother because of the muzzle that had been put on me. The tattoo started to get hot, and I listened as they ran a welding torch over the tattoo. I tried to scream, but steam kept coming into my mouth. "What are you doing to me??? Wheres my brother?" I yelped as they pulled it off me.
They took out what looked like green and gray paint. They left my side, and walked to the other side of the room. Where my brother was.
The next hour I listened with sick, nauseating horror to the screams my brother was making. He would cry and call out my name, and I was powerless to help. The sick, clean smell of the lab made me feel even sicker, and I trembled as I realized I would be next. I shivered as he grew quiet, and heard the words, "Sleeping gas..." I yanked my head up, and saw them getting two new buckets of paint- blue and gray. The started applying it in patterns, but wherever it touched my skin white-hot pain slashed at me. I whimpered, and they started stitching this odd stuff on me. I twitched and listened to what that scientist was doing. He appeared very young, sweat beaded his bRow. He reached for this clear stuff, but by accident grabbed a coke and poured it into the mix. He kept stitching. I let out a howl, trying to get the muzzle off. Then I realiZed something. They were done. The scientist left me strapped down to dry, and went to check on my brother and add something.
I closed my radar, and waited for a long time. I only checked what was happening when the burning sensation started to spread. I listened to the color wave, and froze. The color they had applied was dripping off. I let out a startled bark, and scientist came rushing in. They freaked out when they saw me, and the pain kept dripping off me in waves. I finally yanked myself up so I locked eyes with me brother. Then I feinted.
Alone we are weak. together nothing can stop us. I snuggled next to my brother and looked at his new fur patterns. I was still slightly jealous his fur was perfect. But oh well. I looked cool at least. I turned my attention back to the humans. It didn't matter. We were being adopted!!!

I decided I am going to go for tracker dog #20.

Tracker Dog Application Series 7

Image

Username:
Shukaku
Tracker Dog you want:
#20
Name you'll give it:
Shoal or B135j
Reason why you want it:
As a lover of tracker dogs, I somehow found this little girl to be very beautiful and remind me of a day at the beach with her ocean blue markings and golden sand swirls and stripes. I love wild trackers but I decided that, this time, I am going to try to adopt a stealth tracker.

Will it be used in any kind of story?
Yes, she will get her real name, Shoal, when I finish her story.

Describe its personality:
Shoal can be described as quick thinking, hyper, alert, bubbly, kind and hard working. She can be a bit head strong when she feels that she is right as well as act a bit childish. Being alert and quick thinking helps her in completing her missions and jobs but sometimes her childish and head strong attitude hinders her ability to complete those missions. She enjoys every job that she is assigned from being a guard dog to a rescue tracker.
Likes: Sun, working, running
Dislikes: dark cold weather,

Write an introduction for your Tracker:

I am stuck as who I am, what I’ve done and who I am with. As a tracker dog I know my purpose is to help innocents and to stop criminals. So why am I doing wrong, helping criminals and hurting innocents? I guess I won’t really know.

This all started many months ago.

It was like all other adoption days; humans lined up, filling out forums for the trackers that were up for adoption. At least it would have been if not for my master. Besides seeing the humans lined up, I don’t remember much of that day.
I was sitting in my cage when there happened to be a rather large explosion from the back of my cage. I remember the sound of the blast as it almost burst my eardrums, the sound of the human screams of panic, then, nothing.

I woke up a few hours later, to find that I was far away from my creation facility. I also found out three important things:
1. I am now the slave to my new master, Zane.
2. I am no longer to be used in the way I was originally designed to
3. I am now to be called B135j

As B135j, I was used to spy on the many enemies of Zane and his pack of brutes. I was used to guard hostages and if they were to escape I was to track them and bring them back. And if I didn’t bring them back, I would be punished.

And now the adventure will begin...

Run.
Track.
Chase.
Capture.
Guard.
This was the cycle of my life as a slave to Zane. This time, I was to keep an eye on a young girl that one of Zane’s brutes had kidnapped three days ago. She was pretty quiet for someone who might die in the next few days, if her parents didn’t hand over money in exchange for her life. But I won’t let her fool me; I couldn’t risk getting nearly beaten to death, again.

After a few hours of just watching her, Zane came charging in; yelling about another kidnapped child escaping. Flickering my sharp eyes towards where the girl was sitting I realized all too late that she had escaped. Whimpering in fear of a beating, I raced out of the abandoned factory in search of the girl.
It didn’t take long for me to find her trail. I closed in on where the scent trail was the sharpest, planning on how to get her back when I heard the girl speak.
“Hey, little tracker.” She said in a tiny voice.

-Might finish before the deadline but I figured this is a good place to stop until I finish it-

We sat together as the cherry blossoms fell around us,
Our eyes focused towards each other showing us our love, our trust.
My muzzle under his chin, his head nestled over mine,
We belong together all through out time.

Together our souls will see,
Together forever we will always be.
Even if forever dies,
Our love, our trust will always fly.

Together forever just Bledri and me.

Tracker Dog #23 | Available until March 2nd
Gender: Female
The second dog of a twin set. This Tracker should've looked about the same as her brother, but during creation, something went wrong, causing her markings to seemingly leak off of her. This was stabilised, giving her unusual markings in the end. She was originally also made with a design that would fit a laboratory or research facility, so she also has an unnaturally high immunity to all sorts of substances. She loves her brother, and it would make her happy to see him once in a while.

Tracker Dog you want:
# 23

Name you'll give it:
Leah (L.E.A.H)
The initials stand for Lab East Assistant Helper. At Lab East, what the scientists actually do is classified. The Lab East Scientists were going to name her Hanna, but Alex, a the lab assistant who would be working with the new tracker, Came up with Leah. Which she thought was a cute and meaningful name at the same time.
Sometimes Scientists will call her splat, or paintball, due to her splatter-like markings.

Reason why you want it:
I know Im probably never going to get a tracker (I always get beaten) but when I saw this darling my heart skipped a beat. She is absolutely the most beautiful tracker in the world! I have been stalking the thread for quiet some time now, trying out occasionally for a tracker that caught my eye, but this one means something to me. Not just another pretty tracker. I would be absolutely thrilled if I got this tracker.
Although I am a big fan of all the versions of trackers (Aquatic, aerial, stealth, wild, normal, did I miss one?) but to be honest the normal tracker is my favorite. I dont know why, maybe its the simplicity within itself. I think that, althought the others are nice, the normal trackers are the most original. I know, how could I say its the most original when theres trackers with wings and fins?! I dont know, I really dont. But the normal ones are my FAVORITE.
This trackers colors go Have my favorite colors Blue, white, and dark gray. My favorite T-shirt is even those colors, its white with blue splatters and Dark gray Ravens, Guitars and barbed wire its AWESOME, lol. My Persona usually dresses in those colors, not to mention that they just go really well together. This is by far my dream tracker.
I think This Tracker would be a great Addition to my characters. Most of my characters are made up species, created in the lab or discovered, and are all unique in there own way, similar to your tracker dogs (not that the species are similar to trackers, just that they are made up). I knew as soon As I saw this tracker that she was the one for me, I am desperate to get her so I can shower her with my love and write stories for her.

Will it be used in any kind of story?
Most definetly! I even have some plots in mind:
Something happens in Lab East, Some chemical mistake has gone horribly wrong and now a toxic gas fills the air. The humans are unaware at first but realize what is happening as Leah's frantic barks fill the air and two scientists collapse to the ground. Leah Is at work at once, this is why she is here, for moments like this.
Her immunity to the gas helps her as she works to get all the scientists out of the lab, but theres a problem, Alex is missing. As soon as all the scientists are out of the building Leah sets to work sniffing every single one. She even darts back into the building to check for signs of life. Nothing. Alex is gone.
A moment passes before Leah is off, She knows exactly what happened. The toxic gass was released purposely, it was a distraction. Alex was Taken while Leah was doing her job. Leah growled as she moved in the parking lot and reached the end of the scent trail, she took off after the strongest set off car fumes. This tracker can do more than one thing, She thinks as she sets out on her mission.
This is really sketchy, I literally just came up with this on the spot. Also, I plan to write some stories including Leah with some of my other charries.

Describe its personality:
Leah is a joy to have around the lab, she definetly brightens the workers day with her cheerful personality. She is perfectly at home in the lab, and loves to come to work there with her new owner Alex. She was recently seperated from her twin brother, but with promises that they would see each other often, Leah can get sad and mopey if she goes to long without seeing her beloved bro.
Leah is a dedicated worker and friend, when she isnt working, her carefree and laid back personality makes her the perfect companion. She is very loyal to Alex and will do nearly anything for her, wether that is to protect her or help her with a Lab project.
Leah may seem like the perfect Tracker, but like everyone, she has at least one flaw. She has sepparation issues, or as some people would describe it, separation anxiety. She cannot go to long without being with a loved one, either her Brother or Alex. She doesnt enjoy being alone anymore than she likes spiders.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
A few notes about the introduction, It'll be from Leah's point of view, Alex is My Persona, and Raka is my favorite Charrie and Im saying that her brothers name is Jax just for the sake of the story.

I sighed and took a step into the new lab. It was my first day with my new owner and in this lab. It was also the first time I would not be with my brother for a while. I inhaled deeply, trying to get familiar with the new lab, Lab East.
"Dont worry, You'll like it here," Alex, my new owner, said comfortingly, petting the top of my head with her warm hand. I followed her as she walked through the place, heading towards the back. I could feel the Scientists eyes on me and hear their appraising murmers.
"The new tracker!"
"Isnt she fantastic?"
"look at her?"
"So this is Leah?"
I smiled at the praise and followed Alex with a little more confidence, This might not be so bad after all. Hmm... I wonder how Jax is doing. I let my thoughts wonder as Alex showed my around her office, I sat down on the large dog bed that was in the corner, and set my head down on my feet, letting the tapping of Alex's computer keyborad hum in the background like a soothing lullaby.
Then an unfamiliar scent hit my nose, It was of another animal. Unlike my brother, I did not chase after small animals, instead, i was curious. Had a mouse gotten in the office? I could feel that whatever this was, it was bigger than a mouse, about the size of a squirrel, and nearing towards me shyly.
Alex had turned around and was watching curiously, "Leah, this is Raka," She explained calmly. watching to see my reaction to the critters approach. I felt something soft brush against my nose, tickling it and making me sneeze. I wish I could see what Raka looked like, I could sense that he was amused, and that he had a long tail. I guessed thats what he had tickled my nose with.
I smiled and pawed at Raka playfully, and he jumped on my paw and skittered up my leg and onto my back.
"If you like Raka, wait 'till you meet the rest of the animals around here," Alex said happily.
And thus, my new life at Lab East begins.

I worked really hard on this form! I hope you like it Nex!

Tracker Dog you want: #23
Name you'll give it:
Virgo Galaxy: She was born on the exact day the astrological sign Virgo was created. The scientists at Astronomy West, who were planning to give away the tracker, dubbed her Virgo Galaxy due to her markings
Reason why you want it:
I'm new to the site, and once I saw these I fell immediately in love with them. I know that the market for Tracker Dogs is extremely competitive, but when I saw this beauty I knew that she was the one for me. I might not have the best descriptions, but I promise I will take good care of Virgo and never forget her.
Will it be used in any kind of story?
Probably. I have a FanFiction account and I might put a story up there, probably involving love and adventure. (Virgo meets a tracker named Aries Matter and falls in love with him because Virgo and Aries match astrologically).
Describe its personality:
Virgo is a very feisty tracker. She is very uncontrollable and prefers to do her own thing. She escaped from Astronomy West the first chance she got and lives in the wild. Virgo can easily tell if someone is a good or bad person, but sometimes her instincts are wrong. She is dexterous and found many ways to survive in a world that at first did not accept her. Virgo believes in standing up for what is right; she has an in built sense of justice that leads her to do things that she sometimes regrets.
Write an introduction for your Tracker:
All my life.
I've lived it out in the wild.
How, you ask, did a tracker like me get here?
Well, I escaped.
Escaped from a time where I would be examined and tested, overlooked and prodded, with no freedom absolutely.
But now...
Things are about to change.
Why did I escape?
Because the lab was destroyed, for one. Maybe I didn't want to run free at first.
But then, everything changed.
In one little accident, everything, everyone I knew was gone. Even my brother, the people who created me...
Now I live free.
Nondependent on humans, other trackers...
Because I know if I do, everything will go wrong, just like it did before.

Tracker Dog you want:

#23

Name you'll give it:

Sarin

Nicknames:

Rin, 23

Behind the Name:

Her name comes from the standard chemical weapon used as a nerve agent, Sarin, otherwise known as GB. The name started out as a sort of joke among staff and eventually replaced #23 as her name. From there it was shortened to Rin which is used more commonly than anything else.

Reason why you want it:

Where to begin... Well, after realizing that two more trackers had been posted I hurried to the front page. Her brother, #22, has a nice design and background, but I felt zero connection with him. Then I scrolled down the page to look at his twin and... wow. I don't know, maybe it was her colour or her design or her background or her job or a combination of it all, but I fell in love with her instantly. There's just something magnetic about her and the more I think about her the more excited (and nervous - there's some amazing competition) I get.

I've been watching closely since after I got Apate, admiring each tracker you've put up just waiting for another one that I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about or looking at. She's most definitely the one. This is the first one since Apate that I've fallen in love with and I decided I had to try for. Part of the reason I love her so much might actually be because she didn't turn out 'right' and I can't seem to get that little fact about her out of my head.

Her having a twin adds a bit of a challenge to owning her which I believe could prove to be quite fun. If I do manage to get her, depending on how the owner of her twin feels we could do something with the two trackers in the future.

Will it be used in any kind of story?

Oh, yes, definitely. Like with Apate, I'll continue working on her own story and she may show up in a lot of other pieces where she'll have varying parts. I have so many ideas already that I'm really excited to see play through even if I don't get this exact tracker, it's just a matter of remembering and writing them down now. Plus, if I do get her, I'll be stalking checking in with whoever gets her twin from time to time and perhaps work something out with them whether it be working together on a story or possibly role-playing, I dunno.

Describe its personality:

Sarin is similar to her brother in that she is calm, obediant, and observant. She's a true sweetheart, and the staff around the lab enjoy her prescence for both the safety she provides and the kindness she gives off. Very rarely will she ever get mad, instead she's usually calm and cheerful. Even when hunting down wrong-doers in the lab she doesn't get angry or vicious.

She loves all of the staff at the lab and enjoys being around them. Strangers and new people cause her to be hesitant and she won't blindly trust them even if they're joining the staff. It takes a while for her to develop trust in new people as she is very careful, as is required by her job. Once you've gained her trust, as the lab staff have already, then you also gain her love.

When on-duty, and sometimes off-duty, she's very hard-working. She is careful in making sure that she checks everything necessary and that she doesn't miss anything that is suspicious or could be dangerous. She doesn't hesitate to do her job even in more dangerous situations. Over time she's gained knowledge on how to get her job done efficiently and properly so she very rarely requires instruction from handlers or staff. Only in more dangerous situations does she require instruction or help from humans.

When she was younger she was very self-conscious over her markings. She knew she hadn't turned out right and it truly bothered her. She would never have admitted it to anyone, but whenever she was around her brother she would often feel envious that he had turned out properly unlike her. For a long time she felt that she wasn't as good as her brother. Over the years these feelings have been pushed to the back of her mind and she rarely feels inadequate unless she messes up or something goes wrong. This is part of the reason she likes to put her all into her job.

There are two beings that are especially important to her. The first is, unsurprisingly, her brother. Her favourite thing to do when she's off-duty is visit her brother and just be around him. Not being around him for an extended period of time is one of the few things that can truly upset her. The second is her handler and owner, Flynn. Working with Flynn slowly developed a bond between the two of them and eventually Flynn also became her owner.

Her Introduction:

Two years earlier
February '09

Lights flicked on overhead, Sarin could hear their quiet hum. The room she was in was silent aside from the humming lights and her own breathing. The lights were like a morning alarm, telling Sarin it was time to get up and go to work. She rose quickly and left the comfort of her bed. A quick bite to eat and she was ready to go. The key slid into her door lock and the door whooshed open.

Already all of her senses were kicking into high gear, making the vague image in her mind clearer than before. Outside her small room stood a younger man, waiting for her to begin her morning patrol. She recognized his scent from the few encounters they'd had. Flynn, if she recalled correctly. He was rather new to the building and even newer to the canine unit and apparently it was already his turn to work with her. Sarin wasn't entirely sure she was excited about that, it was easier to work with Jasmine. The older woman at least knew the routine and didn't bother her when she was working unless absolutely necessary. This man, well, he'd probably assume he was in charge or some other nonsense like that.

Sarin trotted quickly and easily out the door, pausing a brief moment to quickly sniff the man's leg. There was no knowing whether or not he'd be one of the ones that got themselves lost, but there was no point risking it. She wagged her tail lightly, showing the man her usual friendliness, before heading off down the hallway in the direction of the lighted areas. The doorways were her first objective, followed by a quick search of the grounds, before patrolling within the actual building.

The day passed quickly and uneventfully. Ultimately about as normal a day as possible. All the better for Flynn, Sarin decided, as she still hadn't decided just how capable and experienced he was. She'd ignored most of what he said, she already knew the things he was telling her. The only times she did listen were when he would mention something about himself. She got the idea he was starting to test her, finding his own way to understand her. By the end of the day he knew when he was being ignored and when she was listening. A bonus in Sarin's opinion, that way she wouldn't be distracted by him talking about things she didn't want to hear.

Two Months Later
May '09

    A new day. Another morning.

Sarin stepped easily and quickly out of her room, greeted once more by Flynn. He'd played handler every three days since February, trading off with Jasmine and Terrence. After working with the young man so many times she'd grown fond of him. Even more so than Terrence who she'd been working with since her arrival at the lab. Maybe even more than sweet old Jasmine. He was young, friendly, and picked up on how she felt quickly. He'd even snuck her in a few treats on several occassions.

The pair headed down the lighted hallway towards the front entrance. Glass doors slid open with a light whoosh, and they were through and outside. Already the grounds were alive with activity, scent trails led every way down the paths and the sounds of feet running and walking could be heard all around. In her mind an image had formed, a rather hectic scene that would be hard to follow for the new trackers.

Together Sarin and Flynn moved off the path, taking their usual route around the building. The number of entrances and exits the lab had was rather high, full of emergency exits and storage entrances. Nearly every door would be busy throughout the day. Staff would be coming and going, shipments would be recieved, tours would be held for possible trainees. The morning itself wasn't even nearly as hectic as it would be in the afternoon. Part of the reason Sarin was grateful that in an hour two other trackers would come on duty working the grounds around the lab area so that she could concentrate on the interior of the lab.

Sarin stopped mid-step, feeling a slight sense of confusion. Her paw returned to the ground and she lowered her head a bit to take a deeper smell. Something in the air had gotten her attention, a scent she recognized but hadn't been present in over half a year.Yes, there it was, that smell. Every human had a unique smell and Sarin remembered this one. Professor Lindwall, one of the researchers that had been in the diseases department working with sicknesses spread by spores. The man had been fired after exposing a fellow researcher to a proto-type of a new type of strain. He'd been banned from the entire property.

Flynn was watching her carefully, clearly having realized that something was wrong. When she started moving again he was ready and hurried along behind her, eyes scanning the grounds carefully. Sarin paid little attention to him except to be sure he was following. She sped up, moving at a steady lope as she followed the scent. A little used door stood closed, the former professor's scent ending at it. Sarin waited impatiently as Flynn opened the door for her and the two hurried through.

They were halfway down a hallway, still far back from the man they were after, when the lab's alarm started wailing. The sound wasn't as loud as it would be in a different lab as the sound had been adjusted so it didn't hurt any tracker's ears as much. Sarin cringed anyway, not a fan of the sound, it made it harder to form an image in her mind. And it proved that she'd been right to worry at the former professor's prescence.

When Sarin reached the door to Lindwall's former lab, and the source of the alarm, one of the emergency staff turned the alarm off and opened a door to let Sarin through. Flynn went to follow, but the man stuck out an arm and stopped.

"You don't have the clearance," the man said, waiting for Flynn to step back.

If Sarin had eyes, and the ability to, she would have rolled them. She stepped back, moving between the man and Flynn and barked loudly, demanding. The man looked at her for a moment before moving back and allowing them both through. They moved through another set of doors, still not in the actual lab. A group of scientists and security had gathered in the room outside the lab, and were now arguing over what to do.

The only thing that stood between them, the lab, and the deadly spores now in the lab was a long glass window. From what Sarin managed to put together from memory and the limited sound coming through the window it wasn't good. At least six of the lab's scientists were in the room with Lindwall and from what the emergency team was talking about, Lindwall had scattered a powdery substance. A bio weapon that would have already infected everyone in the room and would affect anyone that entered.

Flynn and Sarin joined the emergency team, listening to what they were saying. It wasn't good. They didn't know what the strain was, only what the disease was, the haz mat team was gathering and preparing in a different wing of the lab. No one knew how long the people inside the lab could last without medicine, which sat in a small briefcase on the desk.

With the arrival of Sarin and Flynn, a feeling of excitement went through the small group and two people hurriedly gaze Flynn a set of instructions. When Flynn turned back to Sarin, he had the briefcase and led her across to the door into the lab. He typed a combination into the lock and swung open the door.

"Take this to Dr. Cameron, she'll know what to do," Flynn said, bending down so that his gaze was level with her face.

Sarin nodded briefly and picked up the briefcase carefully before stepping through the door. The door closed behind her, sealing shut, leaving her trapped in a tiny room. A moment later, the second door slid open and Sarin was inside the lab. The scent was horrible, and she automatically wrinkled up her nose against it, but Sarin was the only one in the room that would remain unaffected by what it actually was. Her image cleared and she picked out where everyone and everything was. Two of the scientists were slumped against the wall, seemingly unconscious and a third one was holding herself up using a table and coughing.

Lindwall was sitting in one of the corners watching everyone. He turned to watch Sarin, his scent now a mixture of fear. Sarin ignored him, staying far from him as she hurried to where Dr. Cameron was. The woman didn't seem good, judging from what Sarin was hearing, but she was in better shape than the others. She nudged the woman's leg and handed her the briefcase which she quickly set to work with.

While the scientist set to work taking care of her colleagues, Sarin moved across to Lindwall. She sat down a short ways from him, prepared to stop him if he tried anything. They didn't have to wait long, the door slid open and two men hurried in wearing haz mat suits. The door closed again, then opened once more, allowing two more suits to enter. It continued like that until at least ten more people were in the room. More would be waiting outside the room with a place set up to clean the spores off of everyone that exited the lab.

With Sarin's job done, they allowed her out first and she was rinsed and scrubbed down before being allowed out into the hallway where the first emergency team and Flynn waited. The head of security stood waiting, and with the arrival of Sarin, led Flynn down the hallway. Sarin followed quickly, feeling confused on what was going on.

Flynn was greeted at an office doorway by one of the lab executives and the two entered the office, leaving Sarin to wait outside the door with the head of security.

It felt like forever had passed before the door opened again and Flynn stepped out. Although Sarin couldn't really see it, the young man was grinning. What Sarin could tell was the he was feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Flynn bent down, stroking the top of Sarin's head. "Guess what, Rin. They want me to take over from the lab as your owner!" he murmured, his voice laced with the same feelings.

Sarin tipped her head slightly to the side and barked happily, completely surprised by the outcome and what had come of her decision to bring Flynn through security.

Well... I'm nervous, but hopefully this is good enough, I didn't want to add more otherwise it would get too long ^-^
