overall, i usually prefer small contests, because i feel it gives people more of a chance, especially for ones they really like, but raffles for quick contests never hurt

I'm tryna gear up for opening soon! I have a few created adopts to go up (or that are up already as previews) as well as plans for a few skill-based contests with MYO/custom rewards.

My plan had originally to post all of these initial adopts as raffles to get the ball rolling. Does this sound alright with you guys or would you prefer small contests? Keeping in mind I'll already have contests going for the MYO/customs. (I would have added a poll to the thread but apparently you can't on oekaki? So I'll just ask. )

I prefer small contests! Maybe put limit caps because it seems that you have gained a lot of attention. Unless you would be keen to read fleshed out characters or generally a lot of forms - then one or two unlimited contests may work out.

I agree that small contests are a lot more fun than raffles though. It's nice to have one or two since it's good for people who do not have a lot of time to win one.

Looking at your fan base, you have gained enough attention to run small contests. If you feel like there isn't enough, run a raffle to draw people in (maybe an advertising based one? Like put a stamp/make a stamp to put in signature to be entered into the raffle?)

I think that small contests would be your best bet!
You already have a good fanbase to start the smaller contests~!

It's a bit of an afterthought, but you might be able to try your hand at a medium-sized competition as well.
Lots of people seem to want a Kitsucorn, and making one out of four/five contests larger gives them more
of a chance to get the character they're developing across!
