small contests for the most part, but raffles here and there are always welcome. i would say if you were to do a raffle, have it usually be for non-owners since they usually don't know how to make their forms all fancy like owners, which is why they own them, if that makes sense? :')

I'm tryna gear up for opening soon! I have a few created adopts to go up (or that are up already as previews) as well as plans for a few skill-based contests with MYO/custom rewards.

My plan had originally to post all of these initial adopts as raffles to get the ball rolling. Does this sound alright with you guys or would you prefer small contests? Keeping in mind I'll already have contests going for the MYO/customs. (I would have added a poll to the thread but apparently you can't on oekaki? So I'll just ask. )

small contests sound good to me! i agree with lady raincloud, they are usually much more fair than a raffle (:
raffles are nice too though, and this is all just personal preference haha

I like raffle contests because everyone gets a chance but at the same time small contests show how much someone might want the pet >.<

I feel like a mix of both would be better, honestly. Raffles tend to be very popular with some people, but other people like small contests, so a mix of both would be nice.

I think small contests would be better, but some can have raffled thrown in so it's easier for you to judge

Also, a poll can be made by going to your first post, clicking 'edit', and under where you type the post, there's 'options', 'Upload attachment', and if it's the first post, it should also have 'poll creation'. Just click that and away you go! I hope this helped ^.^
