Where is the rest of the herd? They're just up ahead, eating foliage from the low hanging branches. The little calf isn't hungry at the moment and he's decided to lay under an evergreen where the snow is more shallow and the surroundings act as a windbreaker so he's a little bit warmer.

It yearns for the silk, like motherly lilt,
of utterly unheard tune,
Poor dwindled stag, no- of only fawned fawn,
In importance amist, the-
Motherless fawn, of sticks and rags,
As for the rest of the herd,
I heard, were across the rime-barren shores,
Disappeared into the thick clouds like ebony-ore.
The light never shines in the mercurial lines
Of the canopy tops of pine,
And when they collapse,
In the rough white,
No longer feeling the blazing cold night,
Where the waters stop their tracks,
And also, does this poor fawn's..

Yes! I am planning to use/edit this. (Unless the question is asking whether I'm going to use OR edit this, in which case
the answer is.. ??) I just find the original coloration (since pine cones are brown unless I'm red-green colorblind and I
can't tell what 'brown' is) of the wreath always the best, because originals are always the best. Just look at disney se
quels or stuff. I say, my, lord, BatB2 was horrid.

Where is the rest of the herd?
Beyond the mountains and past the snow is a place fit for
full herds of a variety of animals that struggle against the harsh
winter. Thriving vegetation and running rivers accompanied by
warm sunlight it contains. Alas, the journey to this miraculous
place is quite difficult.The herd this young calf belonged to managed
to make it through the first couple of stages but when they were
confronted by a powerful blizzard, some got separated from the herd.
Who knows whether the herd made it to this paradise, or if the
others were found, or even if this calf will rejoin its family.
Only time will tell.
