What you should know about them;; He's a very gentle and peaceful viscet, with a love for his family and the stars. He gets very excited about astronomy, and will babble on and on about it like nothing else. He's very compassionate, even if he's a bit shy.

Hobby/interests;; Just about anything. She likes trying new things.
What you should know about them;; She's very honest, almost to a fault. She doesn't function terribly well as a leader, preferring to instead be the right-hand...er, viscet. She's very, very friendly and intelligent, but isn't very good at showing her inner emotions. Still, she smiles frequently.

Wishlist;; I love sketches, colored ones especially. Movement and emotion are my favorite types of drawings, so wacky expressions are welcome! I also love small pixels--not necessarily tiny, but small ones, and animated ones are always welcome. Of course, I'll adore any and all art! Note that all five of these are very good friends with one another, so if you decide to draw group art, it won't be an issue.

What you should know about them;; She's basically really aggressive and sarcastic. She's also not hesitate to rob someone blind. She always tries to be the top dog of the pack, facing off with the leader to take said position. She's really active, and tends to always be found moving. Despite moving around a lot, she isn't the biggest fan of social interaction. Her brother and a select few would be the only one she can tolerate, but still tends to be sarcastic, but not as rude, with them.

What you should know about them;; Makoa can travel through time {mostly to the past}, and mostly does it to help protect towns and villages. She can also teleport, which she rarely does.

What you should know about them;; She's meek and very self-conscious, always hiding behind her mane when she can. She tends be be very laid-back, and just wants to be told people do care about her. Sol hates anything social, and tries her best to stay away from that kind of interaction, but however - she does love making new friends. She's one of the sweetest gals you can meet, and she'll do anything to keep her friendship with anyone.

How this is going to work:

Please make sure you read through all of the points, and have understanding of what's expected from this event. Below is a repost of the point chart. This applies to both digital AND traditional art. However, if you are doing traditional art each piece must be shaded. Only because traditional pieces are generally a bit easier than digital art, and do a little more effort will have to be put into them.

1 point: Sketch - Colored sketch - 100 word story/short

3 points: Clean line headshot with color - pixel of any kind - 200 word story/short

5 points: Clean fullbody with color - 400 word story/short

10 points: Clean fullbody with detailed background (not sketchy) OR Group picture (more than one character, clean lines+colored) - 600 word + story/short

✦ The first round will work a bit differently.

The first round will start everyone with 7 points. Yes, that is a small number of points. But in the first round, everyone must accumulate at least 5 points. This is to ensure that everyone entered is doing their part and not just in it for free gifts.

✦ No claiming spots

Like mentioned in the rules, you may not claim a spot, such as: "I am doing a fullbody (5 points) for SilverSamurai, so nobody take her points!" is not allowed, simply because many people will not check who claimed what, and to prevent people from making false claims.

✦ Points (going over your limit/user in negatives)

-Each user participating in this event (who has posted a form) is requited to gain a minimum of 5 points in this first round. Yes, you can go over, but please be considerate to other users in this round. Being a small round, there are not a lot of points to go around to everyone, and we want to ensure everyone have a fair chance at getting their initial points.
-A user's gifted total can go in the negatives by accident! If someone gifts the user you did art for before you could send it, that is ok. Still deliver it to them and refer to the rules on the front page for how the points will be disbursed. However, please don't purposefully gift someone a fullbody (5 points) if they only have 1-2 points remaining.

✦ Art quality and ordering art

-The art/story requirements are on the first post, please try to stick to them. Keep in mind that a fullbody will be counted as a sketch if it does not meet the requirements, only to make sure everything is assigned proper points (no cheating)
- Ordering art is fine if you want to! But keep in mind that these will be relatively fast rounds, so ordered art/commissions would have to be done quickly.
- if you choose to write, please only do so occasionally. Writing/poems/short stories can be fun to write and give, but it's no fun to only receive writing in an art competition! Try to vary your art/writing pieces about 3:1.

✦ Kinds of art allowed

As previously stated, you may not use previously made line-arts or make a line-art for this event. In short, all art must be original each time. If you make a line art and try to send it out, only the first time you send it will it be counted for points.

✦ Sending art/writing

Use the form provided on the front page when sending all art to the user for delivery and to SilverSamurai for judging/point awarding. When you send the message, be sure to send the message to both who it's for and SilverSamurai.

- When I have time, I will respond to the message with a +# - total, stating how many points you have gained from the art you sent as well as your current total.
- Don't see your totals updated on the thread? Give it a day or two. I am very busy at the moment and there will be a lot of numbers going on for me. Don't worry, it will be updated soon.

✦ Who do I send art to?

Anyone who has entered this event! You can find the list of participating users here, as well as how many points they have totaled and how many gifted points they have remaining. Try to gift users with a higher gifted total remaining, as they have more points available to claim/take and also have not been gifted as much.

✦ When the first round ends.

- The first round will end once each user has reached at least 5 points, or in 5 days (December 13th).

- Those who have not reached 5 points at this time on the 13th will be taken out of the event, and may not continue to receive art in following rounds.
- After the initial round, users will have their gifted totals refreshed and brought up to 25, and it will become a free-for-all. But still try to be considerate with how many points you are taking, other users can only do art at certain times of the day/week!

Gifting will begin tomorrow at 12pm est. Any art delivered or made before then will not be counted for points, but is still nice!

Good luck everyone, and have fun! I shouldn't need to say this, but remember to be kind and respectful to one another during this event, and no harshness or bullying will be tolerated during this event. I reserve the right to subtract points if I see this happening.

Please see the above post, as well as the first post on the first page for the point chart to see how art will be judged/given points. Remember, you must gain at least 5 points this round, before the 13th. Yes, you can gain more than 5 points this round! But no more than 8 in this first round.

The round will end either in a week, or when all participating users have gained at least 5 points.

Many of you have already hit the 5-10 limit for the first round and will be moving to the next round. Congrats! Please refrain from making tons of art for the next round, a few pieces are fine but try not to do /all/ of the pieces at this time!

To those of you who have not hit your 5 point requirement to move onto the next round; Please check who has points remaining and who does not before you make/send art!

My computer's harddrive just failed so I'm so so sorry if I'm unable to get the art out to move to the next round. If I'm unable to then I'll do art for everyone involved in the event when it gets fixed as an apology.

Congrats to those of you who made it through the first round! I know that was difficult with such limited points to earn and take, but it was just a precaution to make sure everyone did their part if they signed up!

That being said, everyone who is still listed on the front page (the post with everyone's totals and links) has had their gifted points refreshed to 30! Lots of points to claim this round, and not so much worry of going over someone's gifted total remaining :>

things to remember in this next round:;

- ALL traditional art requires shading for points to count. a single shadow below the head does not count as a shaded piece either.

- Please remember to send the message to both myself and the person you are gifting in the same message.

- A full BG is not a flat horizon grassy scene. A full BG means there is a scene; a river in a forest, a kitchen, at least two other objects besides the viscet.

This round will end once everyone's gifted totals are 5 or below, or the end date of the event.
Remember, there are great prizes for those who have the highest total points at the end of the event! Giving and getting free art is a reward in its own, but while the prizes are something to strive for, please still be considerate and remember that there are lots of people in this event, who may not be able to do art as fast as you! Some recent issues:;

-- +10 points is a detailed scene with a clean fullbody. These usually include thin lines or lineless, but is not limited to these. But it does require more effort. It is not:

- A flat grassy horizon
- a still, 2D scene with no shading
- super large and shaky lines

-- make sure you are sending the message to both me and the person you are gifting. If I do not see the other user in the message as well, I can not guarantee they got it from you, thus I can not record the points.

-- Send only one form in each message. You may be sending me a ton of messages, but it's easier to go down the PM list and mark the points individually than it is to dig through a massive PM.

-- Check a user's gifted total remaining before making art! Some users are already close to 10, while others are still at 30.
