Kahli and Amanojaku - Designed by Placebo

Kahli and Amanojaku, or Kah and Ama, were born within a small but loving family. His mother, Chaya, bore a tail mouth, which was passed onto her son, Kahli. Chaya always got along well with her tail, but her son was not so fortunate. Since birth, Kahli feared his tail, so much so that he named it Amanojaku, a Japanese demon which instigates others to wickedness. He grew extremely jumpy and began to hate being along, which became a worse and worse problem as he grew.
When Kahli was old enough to walk on his hind legs, his father, Gallow, realized a problem. Gallow and Chaya both held jobs that required them to be away for long periods of time, and they were not able to take their son with them. Since Kahli was so terrified of his living tail and hated being alone, his parents realized that they would need to think of something else, and fast. So, after some time discussing it, his mother and father took him to Impari's pack, where he would be cared for and have the company he needed all the time.
It was within this pack that Kah realized just what Ama was capable of. One day, after helping Zxunre move logs, he returned to the den he shared with Ziyou and began to fall asleep. Just before he closed his eyes, something changed. His pupils shrank, his shaking and cowering body became stiff and released an aura of power and strength. He spoke only in grunts, growls, and chirps and marched around aimlessly. When he finally fell asleep, he awoke as normal, with no memory of what happened the night before. This only served to aid in his fear of his tail and has steadily begun tearing apart his mind piece by piece.
Kahli has a terrible stutter which frustrates him and occasionally those around him. He always speaks quietly and his eyes are never looking in the same direction for more than two seconds as he constantly glances back at Ama as though it will turn around and attack him at a moments notice. He is always slouched, his back curled and his paws trembling everywhere he goes. He is extremely timid around all viscets, but will stand around one at all times, even if it is a stranger, as he is deathly afraid of being alone with Ama.
There was one case in which he was alone for a moment, however. Ama had taken over the night before and attacked the visiting Azula, tearing up one of her wings. When Kah returned and was told of what had happened, he fled, fearing that his tail would do something far worse the next chance it got. Injured and terrified, he ran for what felt like an hour until he ran into another viscet. She was dark with a strange, curling horn and a skull marking on her head. She was weary of him at first, eyeing him as he stood trembling. They spoke briefly, and Kah learned a few things about her, such as that her name was Lokheed. She was patient with him, not complaining when he stuttered and even helping him a little on the words he could not seem to form. Kah found his heart warm around her and he began to feel emotions he hadn't felt before. Lokheed tended to his wounds and cared for him before convincing him to return, promising him that his pack would not hate him. So, he listened t her and returned. However, he often snuck out to visit her, bringing her flowers and trinkets often as he tried to gain her affection. At first, it all seemed in vain as she would just look at him in a fairly uninterested way, but when he turned away her expression softened and she watched him tenderly. As time went on and Kahli persisted, the two began to fall more and more in love until at last, Lokheed agreed to be with him, to be his mate, despite all of his flaws.
