I never did very much with either, so It wouldn't effect me either way, but I do know that many people really liked this aspect of BWSD

What is one thing that you would like to see done differently in V.2?
Could there possible be more breeding slots? Either that, or more possible puppies per litter?

Though I didn't participate much last time we had the events and races, I thought they were a pretty neat idea! I would suggest, that if you bring them back, to limit the "tasks to complete" to two things. Personally, I found the three tasks were pushing the boundaries; and lessening the requirements may prompt more people to participate.

What is one thing that you would like to see done differently in V.2?
I agree with several people above on the following matters: more breeding slots and different coat lengths. They definitely hit these matters head-on, and I think that they would do BWSDA well in V.2.

I think the grand re-opening is a, well, grand idea! That'd attract a lot of people to BWSDA. I'd also really like to come back to help you with events if you decide to do them again. nvn

I think more breeding artists would be good. I just am super excited for these to be coming back. A grand reopening event would be great! I loved the rescue event so much!! It was a lot of fun and I am using them in my stories today.

I had just joined the community a little bit before they got closed, so I never got the chance to experience it. Although I think it's quite unique as most adopts don't really have anything like it. From what I hear from everyone else so far, is that they didn't really participate in them so I'm not really sure what to say about it. I could be wrong of course, and it doesn't matter for me because I'll still participate in the adopt activities whether you remove these or not. You could always switch things up and come up with a completely new type of event/race. Of course it'd be still dealing with the sleds and stuff, but maybe change up the type of competition people have to do to win, or change up the prizes.

I agree with everything that has been said so far, more breeding slots/larger litters would be nice but I understand that it's more realistic the way things are right now. If you wanted to keep the realistic aspect I'd suggest having like chances during events to be able to add an additional slot/litter quantity to any adopt they own.
Small accessories and edits such as different fur lengths would be something that's also very intriguing. You can do something like the Khim community has that involves some kind of adopt currency, and this could provide a goal for people to work towards if they want to change the length of their dogs fur or want something like a flower/bandanna/necklace/bow/collar/etc. Though I would suggest putting a creative spin on it so it's not like you are copying them.
I'm not saying you need to do this and it's just something to consider, either way I'm happy this adopt is back.

Re-opening event is a great idea and would certainly be a way to grab peoples attention to get this adopt resurfacing again. Although I don't want you to jump the gun and think people will immediately flock to the adopt, it might take awhile and it might not. Some people may wait to make sure the adopt isn't going to close right away before they start participating again, and at the same time I could very well be wrong here. I just don't want you to get disappointed because the adopt isn't gaining as much popularity as maybe some other adopts. Not all adopts need to be popular for them to be enjoyable too <3

If you don't do a re-opening event, I'd suggest a Christmas event... I love Christmas
And this may be selfish because my birthday is coming up but it'd be really cool if you added feature where people get a custom on their birthday. You may want to keep track so you don't get scrammed though and it should be only for regular adopts/players who actually participate in the adopt and have been apart of the community for at least a month or something, like a loyalty thing.

yes!! I feel these are very fun and good to work on art skills if you need to do art and what not

I do like the idea of training events and races and things, but I'm not too fond of the stats. Instead, we could have things like customs and extra breeding slots or accessories added to the winning puppers. c:

I'm super excited to see these making a comeback, I have to say I honestly missed these adopts <3 and was recently thinking about them too.
