What is a perret?

What a good question ! They
are a genetic hybrid of kakapo
and fruit bat, nobody is sure
how these two came to mix,
but found last year on the coasts
of New Zealand, no one would have
thought they originated from these
species as they mimic behavior
that of a ferret !

- You may gift your Perret as long as
you let the archivist know so it doesn't
get lost

- You can resell your Perret for the
price you have bought it for

-Adopts are 'first come first serve'
meaning it goes to the person who
sends the trade first/ it wouldn't
quite be fair if I accept a trade sent
later than them !

-I have good intentions with these

- Mostly glide
- Go crazy over shiny things
- Hybrid of kakapo and fruit bat
- When temperatures drop to below
freezing, they emit heat and huddle
with other perrets
- If a Perret has fallen to illness/injury, another
Perret can emit healing energy to the other by
pressing their beak on the victims forehead
- In their native habitat they nest in burrows/tunnels,
if domesticated your blanket will do
+ they tend to hang on branches but if
domesticated they'll probably sit on your lamp
- Love and appreciate food
- Once they mate, they are mated for life
- Each have intricate and unique personalities while sharing
similar characteristics
-Some prefer to hang upside down on branches like the fruit bat
-Many have an extreme weakness for sugar or sugary treats,
reactions may include: sobbing, screeching and/or 'puppy eyes'
-They groom themselves and each other often but their feathers always appear ruffled
