As some of you might have guessed, we, the staff, have decided that the nursery will not be opening this month.
We had discussed this last month when requests/batch submissions were flooding in. Due to the stress that adding to our queue & list (which are still backed up for the time) and since we have an event this month as well, we've decided collectively to not open the nursery this month. I know this is not the news you wanted to hear, many of you likely were planning on breedings for this month but the staff has too much on our plates with the event planning, catching up on the current nursery batch requests and RL holiday season preparations that we simply do not have the time to open the nursery this month.

I assure you though that the nursery will be reopening on the 1st of January, so there is that to look forward to.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding. And we hope you guys are looking forward to the winter event later this month.

Important - please be sure to read before posting

alrighty, so the nursery is opening today but before any posts are made I'm quoting, and noting the following rules so there is less confusion. Some adjustments were made before the last official closing of the nursery that weren't announced, so please ensure to read over them. Thank you.

✦General species rules apply.
✦While Viscets may be co-owned, a single "owner" must be chosen for the Archives.
✦Pairs must be of opposite genetic sex to breed.
[Breeding Submissions]

✦A user may be involved in 2 batches a month. This INCLUDES batches posted by other users; if you own 1 of the parents in a breeding, it will count towards your limit as well.
✦11/02/2016: The Nursery will only be open for Submissions from Day 1 to Day 20 of any given month unless stated otherwise. The beginning and end of these times will be signified by a comment by Staff, NOT timezones. Any posts outside of these given times will be ignored.
✦All posts on the Nursery MUST BE Submissions (staff announcements excepted). For other posts, see below.
✦Cancelling a Nursery submission WILL NOT free up another Submission for the month. Once you post it, a slot is taken. (Exceptions for if it were forcefully cancelled by Staff for some reason, such as permission disagreements)
[Other Posts/Contacting Staff]

✦Do NOT contact staff about the completion of your batch if said batch is UNDER 30 days old. Exceptions are made for notifying the artist of changes you've made to your form. This means do NOT contact artists asking when your batch will be done. It will be done eventually.
✦11/2/2016: ANY posts on the Nursery that is not a batch submission WILL BE considered spam. If you have a question or concern, contact a valid staff member for said concern. You may only post your concern(s) publicly once you have not received a response for 7 days. If you have a suggestion for the Nursery, post it on the Suggestions Thread.
