Just dug this up from a quick "Sunback dog plushie" google search, which led to this picture
this might clear some stuff up though.

"The Sunback Plush dog was released for Anthrocon 2012, as CS had a table there and the plan was to sell actual Sunback plushies at the convention. The plushies were delayed though, and to make up for the delay in getting real plushies there was a CS pet Sunback Plush available on the site for a couple of days. Alas, the real plushies didn't work out due to various issues and were never made available for sale, but you can see one of the prototypes in this photo:"

Then how come the CS company itself sell some plushies?

Copyright means that only the company or person that (Past tense verb for copyrighting something?) it can make it (or something too similar/with the same design sometimes). If copyright meant no one could make it that would be bad for the copywriter, so I don't see why anyone would do it.
