This sounds like the coolest story! As for the twist on the prince slaying the dragon, maybe he really doesn't want to, but has to in order to prove that he is capable of leading the kingdom ((And becoming heir)). That, or he could just go along with a group of princes and then only one is left standing after the blue fire claims them all? It would be really funny if you had a scene where the dragon is telling the princess about the "insolent boy" out front and how he doesn't meet good quality standards or something >^.^< Overall, excited to read it once you've finished.

Having a bit of a dilemma about my story. I have the feeling that what I want to write won't go with the whole 'I'm your brother, do as I say, or I'll tear your throat out'. I want the younger brother to have a cracked fang (a direct result of his reluctance to drink human blood), and Ai forcefully removes it.
Maybe once I start writing it, it'll fall into place.

Ooh, that's a cool idea!
Okay, I have a problem. It's simple really, but I was just wondering if fairies can have pointed ears, like elves? I don't recall ever seeing that in a book or movie, but if no fairy has ever had pointed ears, is it okay to break that barrier, or should I stick to their lore?
oh, the questions writers come up with

I believe I've seen fairies with pointed ears quite a lot, though I can't think of a specific source. Still, remember that you don't have to stick to traditional lore much.

I've seen fairies with pointed ears before. Though I do think it's more of a pixie and elf thing, I don't see a problem with it.

It can kind of depend on what kind of faerie you are looking at, if they have pointed ears or not in the lore. But like a lot of other people were saying, you can do what you want!
(My story is full of faeries and I don't have a solid rule for who has pointed ears or not, it just kind of depends if I feel like they would or not haha)So yeah, do what you want! If you want to stick to lore, you have to decide which specific lore you want to stick to, because there's so much faerie lore and you may get conflicting answers if you mix a bunch. And it probably isn't too significant of a thing, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks for the answers guys!
@Ranger- Forgot to say in my last post, but I really like that poem! It's got a nice flow to it.
Oh yeah, not all fairies have to be small, right? I guess I'm going for something a bit different then the typical fairy...oh! I just thought of something. Feel free to ignore this random blurb lol.
