@wild another idea; Your main character sinks into an unresponsive state and literally has to be carried out by the girl and boy after a fire breaks out in the lab and the cage is damaged from a burning log or something. A very internalized chapter to introduce us more to the the character's....well... character!

I wrote the next chapter of New Blood! It's not nano, but at least I'm writing haha. I also have another idea for a superhero story (not the one I wrote a while back) and it's super hard to come up with creative powers/abilities. Everything's already been done it seems.

Ok, before I go to bed, here is a little...whatever this is.

"Sei, we need to talk. You know what'll happen if you don't─"

"Go away!" the young man roared, struggling to hold his bedroom door shut against his older brother's inhuman strength. Even if he was a pure-vampire like Ai, his reluctance to feed on a human made him substantially weaker. Uttering a startled yelp when something heavy slammed into the door, shattering it beyond repair, Sei was hurtled painfully to the floor. Before he could scramble upright, he was pinned in place by Ai, flinching violently at the sight of his older brother's bared fangs and luminescent glare. "Damn it, get off me!"

"Quit it, Sei!" Ai snapped, shifting his weight so that he restrained the younger man's flailing legs. A well-placed swing struck his jaw and jerked his head to the side. Snarling dangerously in response, he deeply buried his teeth into Sei's neck, but was careful not to drink. Beneath him, his brother stiffened and let out a strangled yell while beating Ai's back wildly, obviously thinking he was about to be drained. Once he deemed he had tortured Sei long enough, the older vampire released his throat before sitting back. "Will you talk to me now?"

*What the heck did I even write? -runs away-* Don't mind me.
