Tanner runs off to the barn and returns in record timing with a young foal. You feel your heart squeeze as you see the sadness in the animal's eyes. "I'm glad you're adopting them." Tanner says, passing the rope to you. "You seem like a nice person." He said quietly. You just nod your head because you can't seem to break eye contact with your foal, thinking about the wild ride you just got on.
This foal was a part of a wild herd and was sent to us after all the adults were homed. They have scarring on their hind legs and is very aggressive towards strangers.
