I walked home passing by my favorite barn when I hear a sharp whinny of pain. I quickly run inside, ignoring the Do Not Trespass sign, to see a blur of black spiriting away from a man. "What happened!' I asked, turning to the man. "That was my new mare!" the man yelled while shaking his head and walking away,"A nightmare she is! Wont let anyone near her, whoever can tame her can have her!" I quickly run after the blur hoping to stop it before it hurts herself. I stop, panting and look up to see her watching me. I bend down hopping to show her I mean no harm as she sniffs me. Soon Im petting her and smiling when she nuzzles me. "Well Ill be darned" said the man,"She is yours. Ive never backed out on a promise and I don't intend to now" I laugh with joy,"Hello Nightmare" I say.
