xx Linus wears sunglasses for one very distinct reason. The glasses serve as a symbol to show that he's in a feared group, or gang. He is the leader of this gang, mostly due to his small powers that the other members do not have and his leadership skills. These sunglasses that the gang members wear aren't just any ordinary sunglasses either, they can be used as thermal vision, making crimes easier for them to accomplish.
