Welcome to Mini Kitties! Here we offer little pixel-cats
for you to adopt. MK can be from 2 to 4 inches tall
(about 5 to 10 centimeters) and enjoy adventuring
the forums with you inside your signature. They should
only be fed meat-based cat food with small portions
treats. Vegetarian diets are possible but not recommended,
and vegan diets should never be put into play. MK
usually aren't very social, and should have spaces
for them to retreat to when they don't want you or
other cat's company. They often times are very happy
to be taken outside, whether it's on a leash or
free-roaming. Anyways, below you can find our rules

• i no longer am interested in running this species, so i am officially closing mk. no more breedings, customs, etc. can be requested. already existing cats can still be used in signature and such, but no new ones can be made. a new owner will not be found.
• i may eventually make a new species, but this'll likely not be for a while.
• on the note of already-owned currency: some pets that were traded in have now been traded away. as such, i'll instead offer either one colored fullbody or two colored headshots of a character or characters. one character per piece, this offer only applies if you traded in pets. i'll only do domesticated cats or other cat-like species like kalons. no backgrounds nor shading.

At Mini Kitties, we have three different ways we adopt out cats.
~
i. litters have from 3 to 6 cats, and are always first-come first-serve
ii. raffles have from 1 to 2 cats, and can either be open until a set date or amount of entries is reached
iii. the pound can have up to three cats for adoption at a time, and are always first-come first-serve. cats can get there by being donated, not being adopted from a litter, or from being revoked because of a serious offence

MK have many special traits that can be inserted into their DNA,
with some being more difficult to cause than others. This factor
of difficulty is what has been defined as rarity here at MK
Laboratories. Rarity doesn't actually dictate anything, as it's
really just a way of organization. To find a cat's rarity, you must
first find it's rarest trait using this guide. The rarity of that trait
determines the cat's overall rarity. For example, a multi-tailed
whiskerless cat would be rare, because the rare multiple tails
trait is the rarest one it has. Cats from events don't have rarities.

COMMON
Just your average mini kitty, nothing special to see here. Traits include no edits, flopped ears, and no whiskers.
Can be requested for customs.

UNCOMMON
These cats don't appear in litters as often as common cats. Traits include, bobtail, split tail, and tail sticking up.
Can be requested for customs.

RARE
Rare Mini Kitties are not seen very often at all! Traits include, angel wings, missing limbs, multiple tails, and unicorn horn.
Can be requested for customs.

LEGENDARY
These cats will never appear in normal litters, and are usually obtained by raffles. Traits include, cerberus, dragon wings, chibi wings, and headless.
Can not be requested for customs.

EVENT
Event is the rarity of any cat that was received in an event. A Mini Kitty that was holiday-themed and released around that holiday in a litter or raffle does not count as an event cat unless stated otherwise. Traits include everything.
Can not be requested for customs.

HYBRIDS AND OTHER SPECIAL CATS
Hybrids are cats with multiple different traits affecting the same body part. For example, a flop-eared whisker
ess unicorn would be considered hybrid. Hybrid rarities still go by the normal rarity system. Other special cats would refer to cats on a completely different lineart, which does not include art you draw of your cat. Traits include everything.
Due to the DNA of hybrids being extremely complex and not understood, they can only be received by breeding. Both kinds of cats in this category are able to breed, but other special cats will not pass on their lineart.

Breeding is open!

Do you have two cats that have fallen in love with each other? Perhaps one of your cats has fallen in love with someone elses? Or maybe you just want some kittens. Whatever the reason, this is where you can come to breed two cats. That's Nurse Snowli over there, she takes care of the breedings. Here are some rules, please don't break them:

-you must have a breeding cookie
-one extra cookie per breeding. each person in a breeding can use one extra kitten pass
-if you are breeding with someone else, whoever is supplying the cookie(s) posts the form. the other user then must quote that form, approve of the breeding, and say if they are using a kitten pass. the other user can also use a kitten pass.
-single breeders normally keep two kittens. partner breeders normally keep one kitten each. you must discuss with your partner thru pm about who keeps which kitten(s).
-gender doesn't matter, but only two cats in a breeding.
-littermates cannot breed with each other, and ultra rares are physically unable to breed.
-litters normally contain 2-3 kittens.
-any kittens that aren't adopted by the breeder(s) either can be gifted to someone or sent to the pound. you must discuss this in pm with your partner(for partner breeders).

Want a cat that is perfect for you? You've found the right place, as this is where you can order customs! That's [NAME HERE] over there, they actually invented the technology for creating custom cats. Anyways, here are the rules for customs.

-be patient. if it's been over a week with no progress updates, you may ask your artist
-don't order when slots are clearly full or closed
-these cats are tiny, so please don't order complex designs
-no animations, but minor line edits are allowed. please no feathery wings
-once a custom has been claimed, no refunds are allowed unless this closes
-rgb codes are appreciated but not required
-if the reference is a photograph of some sort, it must be in decent lighting so artists can see what you want
