Smallsplash was originally training to be a warrior, As most young cats want to fight to defend their clan. Smallsplash was a quick learner, and his long legs gave him the speed of a Windclan cat. One day, after returning from a successful hunt with his mentor, a badger attacked the camp. Smallsplash helped fight the badger off, but the badger was able to tear the top of his ear off, before it retreated into the river surrounding the camp. Smallsplash, who was frightened deeply about the event, decided that he'd rather heal others that have to go through that fight again. He switched over to a medicine apprentice, and grew into a fine, young medicine cat.
