Ohkay so I just LOVE these lines and had to color them now that I get the whole tablet thing better 
So this is just a male character or possible fursona and he was just made pretty much at random 
I operate best that way I think 
Anyway His name is Atka (At-kah) and the three chinese symbols on him are part of him and they don't come off. They mean (left to right) hope, faith, and strength. Please tell me if I got any of those wrong! Because that wouldn't be good would it?
Refs used for the symbols:

*Edit: I changed the lines going through his tail like someone suggested. Does it look better now?
