But I suppose being in one group isn't bad? I mean, whatever everyone else wants.
SilverCrescentMoon wrote:I don't think so. Since that would be quite a handful and we all have different levels of rp'ing and characters. I like the idea of both though that Aliria mentioned.

Nandu species
Homeworld: Selhjei
Classification: Advanced Humanoid
Scientific Name: Homo sapiens pluvius
Status: Critically EndangeredEstimated Population: Due to the species' inherent territorialism, unwillingness to merge with other cultures, and strong tribal ties, as well as strict policies regulating emigration and death penalties for desertion, the estimated remaining population after their planet was wiped out is estimated to be only between 1000 to 3000 scattered across human space.
The Nandu species is biologically very similar to humans; one of the only main physiological differences being that the appendix has been restored to its original purpose of digesting raw plant matter, which, being primarily rainforest-dwellers, makes up a large majority of their diet. They are, however, quite easy to tell apart from other humanoids. Their skin is thicker, and, with the exception of a few small tribes which had a decent portion of albino individuals, highly pigmented. Skin colors range anywhere across the normal human skin tone spectrum, but also almost all other colors of the rainbow. Most are also born with complex and individual patterns on their skin. The skin itself is smooth and leathery, and its texture has been compared to dolphin skin. They are also completely hairless; rather than hair on their heads, they have webbed crests that run from the top of the forehead to the start of the neck (these are often larger in males). Due to the fact that most Nandu were not allowed to marry outside their 'tribe' (which could sometimes be several thousand individuals strong), individuals from different tribes can differ immensely when it comes to color and patterning, and those in the same tribe will commonly have similar patterns/colors over some range.
The Nandu were arguably a very advanced species, with a complex social hierarchy and culture which revolved around war, honor, and tribal conflicts. This fact made Nandu weapons some of the most sought-after in the Syndicate; however, Nandu were reluctant to trade weapons, as they believed in a spiritual connection between the weapon and its intended wielder, and refused to give out information regarding how, exactly, the weapons were made, so some of their techniques remain a mystery.
The society itself collapsed during a war between the Nimburu and Sokshola, two of the largest Nandu tribes. The Nandu had a strict moral code, and ordinarily, causing damage to a tribe's civilian population would be regarded as ten times worse than losing the battle. The Nandu tribe, however, created a biological weapon, a virus which was intended to be quarantined within a specific area and was not supposed to spread beyond the enemy's soldiers. Needless to say, that didn't work out quite so well; nobody is exactly sure how the virus made it through (it is speculated it hitched a ride on some form of small, burrowing mammal). However it happened, within months, due to practically no communication or cooperation between tribes, the virus had managed to wipe out the entirety of the Nandu population.

Separating people into groups with their experience and such seems like a good idea but I feel like some people possibly might not be happy with what 'group' and such they're in and I like to roleplay with people of a higher literacy level than me ?? ;~;
I think it'd be easier to stick to one big group, then we can pair the characters a bit better and just roleplay with whoever we like/ whichever characters are open ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
