I fit all of the criteria EXCEPT for being active all the time. ~_~ I'm halfway to being able to buy a new computer. If only I had it now, I'd be gold!

You can still apply, a quick scroll through your posts gives me the impression you've been decently active for at least the past three months. If you fit the other criteria who knows, you could still have a chance.

Well my reasoning for not being as active as I usually am is my computer started smoking one day while I was using it. And when I opened it, it was a mess.
I've been meaning to replace it but I don't have the finances. I might use a paycheck to buy one before applications close and just live off some savings or something until next payroll. The opportunity to serve the website that has given me so much would be well worth living off slim pickins for awhile.

I suggest not sacrificing your own well being for a small chance at something. There's usually hundreds of applicants and only a few get the position. So it's not a good idea to get a new computer solely for that, you know?

I have to strongly discourage you to apply then if you are not actually of the age as the applications state, there is a good reason why those age restrictions are there, and if you apply lying about your age it could cause some serious problems.

New staff are usually hired every year or so, however different positions tend to open up each year.

There's still a chance. If I don't succeed this time, I've got a new computer and only a small window of time I need to penny pinch and live off those slim pickins I mentioned. I still think it's worth a try.
