It's interesting that the 60th bird was a custom for that feather shape, as that's the next feather style that was to be released at 60 birds! The black cat/raven (however you interpret it; it was meant to be a raven, but then I realized it looks like a cat X3) also has this feather type.

Additionally, if you've looked at Arturo in my signature, you'll know that COSTUMES are on their way! A total of 7 costume choices will be available later tonight, and will only be available through Nov. 3rd. You can buy them and store them, though they cannot be taken off and put on another bird once they are applied to a bird.

Speaking of open wings, it's time to introduce Ecto, Lovebirds' first special bird.

The current event is the raffle of the first special bird! Special birds are the royalty of the bird world, and they display their status by opening their wings open and making themselves larger. The special birds are a bit larger and more intelligent than typical LBs, making their communication with humans much easier.


Meet Ecto, a ghost bird who lives on the outskirts of the forest. He is the 'king' of all deceased birds, and makes sure that no bird has to go before their time is over. Due to taking on other birds' illnesses and deformities, Ecto is not the prettiest of the specials, but he is perhaps the most revered by the birds. He is their protector, and the birds who have been granted more time because of him are forever joyful.

As stated, you can get a chance to win Ecto in a raffle style. Include somewhere in your post that you want to claim a ticket, and you will be entered.

For additional tickets, have a linked image to Lovebirds (like a linked stamp/banner or your bird) in your signature for 24 hours. Each 24 hours will get you another ticket, and you can post once per 24 hours to let me know you've earned another ticket.

You can also buy tickets for 25 feathers each, or 100 feathers for 5 tickets.

So, to answer your question Nyeh, I can open his wings, but not fully; would you like them partially open, closed, or just to not get him? It's up to you. :> The raffle is posted on the events post!
