i've been watching people on youtube play it, and i can safely say i'm impressed. the graphics at first seemed a little choppy, and i preferred the original style, but the scare factor has been dramatically increased from the last few games. it is incredibly intense and i'm looking forwards to seeing other youtubers playing it!!

I can't wait for Mark to play it. Though, I'm only gonna watch as far as I've gotten into the game. I don't want spoilers.

He's gonna hate Ballora, since he has a fear of mannequins. Her jumpscare is pretty scary, too. I should know, I witnessed it firsthand.

The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it seems, I don't know, linear. And you don't have to wait until the morning, you just complete the tasks assigned to you and move onto the next day. Definitely different than the original four.

i am mainly looking forwards to seeing Mark play it! i've only seen the child's jumpscare so far (i think the name's bidybab?) since i'm saving everything else for mark's playthrough...unless i cave in and watch the game theory stream in 30 minutes cx

but i have noticed that; although it is definitely different from the fnaf games it has got small elements from the old series such as the tense moments throughout various moments of the games. it seems like a collection of minigames to me, if you get what i mean?

Yeah, I get what you mean. It definitely feels like that. And Bidybab's jumpscare was the first one I got. I didn't fight back hard enough, but it didn't get that much of a scream out of me. I'll probably jump in GT's stream when MatPat gets to night three, since that was the one I gave up on. There's a point in night three where you have to repair Freddy, and Bonnie keeps getting me, that little jerk. So I'm gonna wait until someone else figures it out, LOL, or grow some guts and do it myself.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that this game takes place between the 1970s and the 1980s. How do I know? Look at the TV, it's a dead giveaway.

I'm just gonna shrink anything that seems the most spoilery. Afterall, a nightguard shouldn't break the rules.

I wanna get the game so bad and go into it blind, so I'm avoiding any lets plays for the time being.
I've heard a lot about funtime foxy's jumpscare. if it's as scary as everyone claims it to be, I might get a good genuine scare out of the franchise for the first time. I'm excited.

Oh yeah, be excited. Like I said previously, she's given me the biggest scare of the entire game.

And hey, whoopie! After taking a break to see how others figured out how to complete night 3, I've finally made it to night four!

And now I'm taking a break again, because it's too crazy, man. Everybody is saying that night four's minigame is the hardest, ooh boy. I'm saving it and night five for tomorrow, definitely.

Also, just to add, I LOVE playing FNaF by myself. I mean, this is the first game I can play before I have to watch a YouTuber play it, I squealed when I downloaded it, LOL.

wow, scott really went all out on this game. ive been watching several let's plays on YouTube and i ... Am really confused? maybe my own fault, i haven't been getting up to date with all the previews and such, so i have no idea who ennard is. does that count as a spoiler...?
also, the different endings; im just really confused and waiting for someone to give a whole video explaining what happens.

Now that the new game is out, we might get flooded with new members. Everyone please make sure to follow all the rules. I don't want to end up banning people from the thread like the previous owner had to in the early days.

HUGE spoilers inbound for Sister Location and Silver Eyes!

Okay, so I've been thinking a lot about the lackluster and twist ending. The arguments people have made against Afton being possessed by Ennard make a lot of sense, but I can't help but think that this is a lot like FNaF4, with the Bite of '83 vs. '87, where the community is torn between two things, one of which being right under our noses and the other being farfetched. But last night, after venting to my poor mother about how disappointed I am with Sister Location (another story for another time), I decided to dig into Silver Eyes and read all of the descriptions Afton is given, and upon further inspection, the ending may be what a lot of people think.

Firstly, the timeline. In the book, Charlie's brother gets snatched in '82, and Fredbear's Diner closes shortly afterward. Freddy Fazbear's gets opened in '83, and closes in '85 after the murders happen. If we were to base off this, then I say Sister Location takes place after '85, since in the beginning HandiPad mentions something happening at Freddy's.

Another point is Afton changing. Back when Freddy's was in business, Afton was a fat man, and now in '95 (or sooner) he's emaciated. Now, true, this could be like Clay described, Afton just dropped his disguise, but what if it was him being possessed by Ennard?
There are a lot of descriptions in the book that lead me to believe that this may, in fact, be true. "His skin was sallow and his eyes were undercut by heavy lines, adding to the impression of longstanding ill health." "His gaunt features and sunken eyes, his skin that seemed to have worn thin, ready to snap from strain." And after John gives him a good hard slap, "Dave's body moved upward, straightening but the movement was too smooth. He seemed to make no effort, use no muscles, exert no energy." "Dave's eyes opened steadily, glassy and without emotion, like the robots on the stage outside." "The voice came from inside the mask, but it was not Dave's, not the pitiful, sour tone they would've recognized. The voice of the rabbit was smooth and rich, almost musical. It was confident, reassuring, a voice that might convince you of anything." That sounds a lot like Baby's/Ennard's voice to me. In the same paragraph there's also mention of bulbous eyes, what human would you describe having bulbous eyes? Then there's another mention of his eyes "glimmering" in the light. Clay describes the recent picture of Afton looking like a "poor facsimile of himself".

And lastly, Afton saying that the animatronics won't attack him, because he is one of them. When I first read this, I thought it was figurative. That he was saying that he was a lost soul, much like the children. But now, what if it was literal?
The only thing that debunks this theory, if we again, ignore the games and focus only on the book, is when he dies in the springlock suit. The description gives you the impression of a human being getting brutally killed. And if we don't ignore the games, then this theory can't be true, because look at Springtrap.

Another point towards this theory is the glow of the eyes. Ballora's eyes are not that deep and rich of a purple, they are more magenta. Those rich purple eyes look at lot like the color of Purple Guy. And yet another point, if we include the games, this could help explain Pink Guy and Purple Guy, Pink Guy being Afton before Ennard, and Purple Guy after Ennard.

But again, there's a lot of things to debunk this theory into the ground. If anyone can easily debunk this, please, debunk it. I have to get it out, maybe it'll make me feel less disappointed in Sister Location and Scott. Which, again, is another story for another post.

I made a Reddit account just for this theory, but it can't be viewed by the community for 14 days because I just made the blasted account. And by the time that is up, Scott would've teased Sister Location 2! So this stupid theory would be irrelevant. Yeah, as you can see, my excitement for Sister Location has turned into disappointment and frustration.
