I was looking through past staff pets for themes a single staff member has done. Fiery Gatoh has had no major lineart edits so far.

Y'all are steering me towards insanity. I have created a file where I have each of the staff members involved's past staff pets.

I'm going to figure each one out. Still working on the list. Only half way done.

I just noticed that this little guy is very smooth. The fluff on the neck and tail is gone, with only the cheek fur being left on.

Yeah - he kind of reminds me of a present because of the colors and patterns, but he could be painted wood or plastic as well!

I've caught up with all the hints in the thread, so any that were missed should be added now <3

Since there's so much there already, and very few pets to actually work with yet, I think I'll start easy and just look at what Atwood's staff pets have in common.









Since a lot of the points I'm going to mention are very minor and difficult to spot, I'll post a comparison image of a standard, unedited monthly dog next to them so you can see for yourself/correct me if I'm wrong.

- All the dogs have lineart edits on both the pups and adults
The first dog has fluffier ears (comparison) and bracelets (I'm not sure if the adult dog has edited hair on its' head or if its just the colours). The second dog has ever so slightly edited 'eyebrows', which are more angular to look shocked on the pup (comparison) or worried on the adult (comparison), as well as the adult's floppy ear being edited (comparison) to become more angular. I'm also not sure if the adult has an edited piece of hair at the top either. The other two dogs are very obvious in their edits for both pup and adult~

- The mouths of each dog are altered slightly
If you notice on a regular dog, the smile goes up to its' mouth (comparison), while Atwood's dogs all have smaller smiles, or not one at all. Normal, still growing dogs have no smile at all (comparison), so the mouth on the last dog is very edited too. This one doesn't apply to all the pups, only adults.

- Ear edits
All the doggos have ear edits. First has fuzzy, second has a more angular floppy ear, and the last two have obvious edits. The only time this isn't present (that I can tell, anyway), is in the second staff dog's pup stage.

- Dark noses
For the first three dogs, both pups and adults, the noses are definitely darker colours. In my opinion, the last dog also has a darker nose, as the lil section just above its' beak is darker (where its' nostril is), though that one may be a bit more subjective, and isn't noticeable in the pup stage.

- Patch above nose
Each of the dogs have a lighter patch of colour above the nose, going up the snout. The only time this isn't seen is on the last dog's 'pup' stage, due tothe eggshell.

- Light colours used on tailtip/eyes/feet/chest
Explains itself, really, and applies to both adult and pup. First dog has faint, small lines of the lighter colour on the tailtip, lighter eyelids, lighter lines on the bottom of the paws and a big golden belly.
Second dog has obvious light tail, eyes (lil dots), paws and chest.
Third and fourth dog are very obvious in these too.

- Use of all colours
Atwood uses the entire palette for their dogs, at least in the adult. This is hardest to spot in the second staff dog, and I don't think all the colours are in the pup, but I'm pretty darn sure that all the colours are used in the transitions from dark to light, especially on the back of the neck/shoulder.

- Edits near the eyes
There are edits around all the dogs eyes, in both pup and adult. If you look properly, you'll notice the lines of the eyes are darker and thicker around the outer corner of the eye/the corner of the eye closest to the ear for the first dog (pup comparison; the upper lash line in the corner is thicker and adult comparison; the very corner of the eye is darker).
The second dog has the eyebrow edits on both pup 'n adult, the third dog has a sharper line on the bottom of the eye (rather than being round), and the last is obvious C:

I think I've spotted all the similarities between them. Not sure. Feel free to inform me of more/correct me if I'm wrong!

Well I am super excited for these pups as it's the first 'staff' litter i've been here for,
and thrilled I managed to get 2 / 3 of the outcomes that changed today! Hopefully
I can find the third because it looks like it could be promising! i think i'm going to
love all of the designs this year! Definitely going to keep track of each!
