Who else is on the bandwagon for using IV stats to determine whether you evolve or power up or not?
I'm so happy I had a 415CP Meowth with an IV's of 86%- evolve into a 915CP Persian with an IV's of 91%!

IVs for determining if I'm gonna evolve, but IVs and move set if I'm gonna power up, and then only once the Pokemon is fully evolved. What IV checker are you using? I like GoIV because it's super easy for on the go checking and very accurate when you use it alongside the appraisal feature. ^^ My highest IV Pokemon so far is a 98% Magnemite. Here's hoping for a good move set.

I am not into it.. at this point I just want to evolve and foll my pokedex to the best I can (minus those 3 regional only) pokemon

I'm using Pokefinder. Theres an app and a website for it- and it gives you an IV calculator, an evolution calc, and rough ideas as to where pokemon are spawning.

My highest IV is a 98% Magikarp. :)

Does anyone know some good IV calculators for Android (Google Play Store)? I've tried multiple but they all give different answers for the most part (they agreed on my Rapidash, though!), so I don't know which to trust.

I wanted another Flareon, so I got an Eevee and named it Pyro before evolving, as I've done it before. Except this time she turned into a Vaporeon instead. What went wrong? I'm completely certain I didn't make any typos, so I don't know how this could have happened.

I mean, I like Vaporeon, and this one went straight to CP 1095, but I'm just really confused.

I think you can only name your Eevee to get each evolution once - one Vaporeon, one Jolteon, and one Flareon. Beyond that it's just random, and naming them won't work.
