    Username: hyperthymesia.
    Show name: Dual-Toned Sword
    Barn Name: Tignir
    Age: 4 years
    Gender: Stallion
Story: As a foal, Tignir was very curious and loved to explore. He would often wander too far from his mother into the woods, where barbed wire could be seen wrapped in the trees and sprawled on the ground - but he was always careful to avoid it. However, one day he came across a rabbit-hole, and in his fascination leant down on his forelegs. A few rabbits scattered from out of the hole, and of course, Tignir chased them, forgetting his mother's warnings and tripping over some barbed wire which wrapped itself viciously around his leg.
He had to get it amputated because of loss of circulation in the limb and possible tetanus.
The foreleg loss certainly makes racing and show-jumping difficult for Tignir, as well as dressage, but he has learned to balance well on it and overcome such difficulties by varying his steps and speed.

Show name: Dusty Pharoah
Barn Name: Phara
Age: 7
Gender: Stallion
Story: (I'm basing this story off of modern times, but it takes place in an alternate universe where instead of using dogs to fight, people use horses. The training methods I use are based off of modern times and medieval times as well. much of the training used during medieval times are used today as well). Phara was a war horse. He was trained to lie down when being shot at, to run over humans when they threatened him, and he was taught not to scare when faced with startling noises and situations. He had been on several tours in his day, but when he reached the age of six he lost his front leg during a mission. The soldiers he was with were ordered to go into an abandoned building and check for enemies. Unfortunately for Phara, his enemies had known that they would show up sometime, and had laid down landmines everywhere in the area. Phara was the first to step on a landmine, and unfortunately he was not the last. The other horses within Phara's group startled and ran, but unfortunately they also stepped on land mines. The horses were cared for, but unfortunately only one horse survived. Phara is still recovering, but he is coming along very well, and seems to be improving fast.
