The Pirate

The aura that had previously been surrounding the surface of the egg begins to waver, light specks of sunlight filtering out from subtle cracks in the exterior shell. In one sudden burst, the top of the item pops open, a small fairy emerging from the inside and tumbling out.


Exposed to the harsh light of a new world, the Fairy blinks its eyes before turning to you, its new owner, in delight.
Fairy Rarity; Uncommon

The rough surface of the egg bubbles from an awakening pressure within its captive shell before its motion pauses entirely. A few seconds pass by, barely audible chipping sounds filling the area around you before at last the final fragment of the Fairy's holding is broken past.

The Fairy stood idly besides you, its new Master, while breathing gently.
Fairy Rarity; Common

The breeze that had been fluttering the leaves that rimmed the small egg began to multiply in volume until heavy gusts began to pluck away the capsule that held the Fairy hostage under its might. When the final pieces had been peeled back, what was left exposed was a small and fragile organism.

With the wind having now died down to its former glory, the Fairy turned to you with blank eyes before bobbing its head in acceptance.
Fairy Rarity; Rare

The small egg floated up and down for a few minutes in time, what would appear to be chirping coming desperatly from within. Could the Fairy be having difficulty coming out? Just as the thought had crossed your mind, a single wing broke the left side of the shell, followed by the right wing from the right side. A final peck and its head was free, revealing an image similar to a bird. Clucking as it used the last of its might to escape, the Fairy at last was fully hatched.

Fluttering besides you in new-found awe, the fairy appears to be greatly delighted by its new home with you.
Fairy Rarity; Common

The vague whispering that surrounded this egg's vicinity seemingly quieted for a moment, the shell shuddering as something within it stirred in desire for freedom. This silence, however, only lasted for a brief moment in time until the surface of the device began to clatter and erode under some mysterious power. A light could been seen as the seams of the protective layering collapsed on-top of itself, a pair of pristine wings unfurling themselves into the open air.

A majestic presence floated before you, its eyes fixed keenly on you as its new Master.

The Saber Wolf examined the newly returned offering with sudden interest, its ears perking slightly with the additional goods. The Forest of Mere was alight with the chirping of birds, the soft flickering of ferns against wind, and the rustling of leaves as the Saber Wolf bowed its graceful head to you under an oath of eternal loyalty.

...It would appear you have gained a new companion on your journey...

The Pirate stares down at the hatching faries in awe. One by one, the fairies emerge from their capsules and blink at the intense but welcoming light of day. The Pirate smiles down at them, welcoming them into her little family. Soon their adventure will begin.

The Pirate grins at the reaction of her new companion. She lowers her head in response, pledging her loyalty in return. Then, she reaches out her hand to rest on the muzzle of the Saber Wolf before saying, "Your name is Iluvenis. Welcome to your journey."
