Name: Yondu Udonta
[yahn-doo ooh-don-tuh] Gender: Male
Pet Dressup:---Tuskafloofs are not the apex predators of their planet and therefore they have evolved a great deal of spikes to protect themselves. Their retractable spikes are a defense mechanism, working similarly to that of a puffer fish. While all of the spikes are retractable, Tuskenfloofs prefer to keep their shoulder horns out to proudly display them.
---The long horns on their shoulders are mainly used for fighting, both for mates and dominance; because of the way this is done, it has been termed a dominance dance. Matriarchal by nature, the males compete for a female's approval. During mating season, the black horns on their shoulders flood with color to attract mates, then go black when mating season is over; these colors usually match either their eyes or accent markings. A Tuskafloof's accent markings vary in shape, size, placement and color and typically indicate their bloodline.
---This species has an unusual attraction to shiny objects and is constantly collecting anything that reflects. The small items are often fashioned into jewelry, while the larger pieces go into their dens or hoards. It's not uncommon to see a pack of Tuskafloofs, or a bramble, trying to steal another's hoard.
