Thue rubbed their ear a few times, tapped on it lightly with a finger - they were hearing an odd, pulsating sound, just barely there and soft enough that they hoped it was just an unusual case of tinnitus. Considering their situation, however, there was a good chance that it was something far more serious.
They tried to push the worrying thought away by returning to the chat window. ALEC had replied. It was worse than Thue had feared; only a ridiculous small percentage of the ship's AI had made it through the crash, if his estimate was to be trusted. Thue supposed it made their job easier. Two AI were certainly a lot easier to keep track of and maintain than thirty, but still, it didn't encourage high hopes for their eventual return home. At least the main guy was still online, although his capablities would also be limited by the state of the ship itself ...
Thue shook their head. Okay, enough. No use worrying about everything at once; first things first. Before anything else, Thue needed to get out of their room, and ALEC said Minerva was on her way. True enough, the otherwise inactive speakers in Scorpio buzzed back to life and Thue could hear the AI's wisecracking voice. Typical, really, that it was the two most obnoxiously sarcastic AI that had survived.
"The hole in the roof is too small for me to get through," Thue shouted into the air, desperately hoping Minerva was close enough to hear it. "I need you to either fix my door or make the hole bigger somehow. Also, have you seen my kid?"

Could Puck tell exactly where they were? They looked around, seeing far too much and not a single recognizable thing.
"Uh ..." They ran a hand through their hair, momentarily having a distant thought that it was gross with sweat and that they really needed a shower, before something occured to them. They fished out their gaming console from a pocket in their pants, flipped it open and tapped "Enable tracking device" on the screen.
"How about this? Can you detect my Gamepad?"
