I really love this adopt and I'd be sad to see them go.
Is there anything we can do to change this around, so you don't end up closing it?
And I really don't mean to seem as I'm pestering, and I'm not sure if you forgot or something? But there's an adopt you did and it closed on the 1st. Are you judging it? I'm so confused on what's happening with it.

i really hope these babs don't close, they're adorable and the interactive races that pop up are a brilliant idea; though i didn't get to 'compete' in the last one because i had to cat-sit without internet on the day i was supposed to do them. i think they just hit a quiet patch just before the summer when there was exams and the like on and haven't perked back up yet.
a really neat idea from sleepy dragons i think helps activity with those guys, is the owners opened a shop where you can buy young sleepies for points - you get a point for every post you make in the fanclub - and then they grow. maybe a similar idea could be put into place, if not with shop puppies then with items? like one that guarantees twins in a litter, one that boosts a skill by one point, etc.

I haven't been here in awhile, mainly because at the time when I was still hanging around, there had been a lull in adopts. I fell out of these lovely adopts, and only recently saw they'd came back! I would be really sad to see them go. ;-; They are amazing adopts!
As cujo. said, a shop might be interesting to do. Along with earning points from posting on the fanclub, you could get points for entering for adopts, getting an honorable mention (not a runner up), entering contests, etc.
Also, maybe a summer event could help kick popularity back up? A lot of species do them, and that normally gets a lot of people interacting with the species. c:

I've looked at the adopt and judged it c:

They are one of the few species that is run like an rpg, but every training event got (maybe) up to five players to enter. I just don't want to put my time into creating these things for no one to join them (which is also the main reason that I have yet to make a race). The shops may help, but like I said, if players aren't participating in community, then I can't really force them to.

I have made a final decision to leave CS, meaning that this adopt will be closed. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this wonderful community. I will log on on more time tomorrow, so feel free to PM me with any questions. That being said, here are my responses to commonly asked questions.
• Will a new owner be taking over?
No. I just simply don't see the point in continuing the adopts. Activity has been low, so I don't think that the interest is high enough to transfer it over to a new owner and give them the struggle of keeping these guys going.
• What will happen to my dogs?
You are free to keep your dogs, of course c:
• Will current breedings/growths be completed?
Yes, but no further forms will be taken. Any puppies produced will have an adult version produced immediately as well (due to the fact that I will not be around in two weeks to grow them then).
Feel free to PM me with any other questions and I will answer them all later today or tomorrow.

I was really hoping not to see this go. I've participated in a lot of other adoptables but this one is one of the few I wished to keep going on. But I understand and respect your decision. I know it's hard to keep an adoptable active and all. I've seen lots come and go.
I still have a breeding that isn't done and I was still waiting for the adopted strays to get stats so I could breed them but I guess it isn't gonna happen. Ah well. Take care of yourself alright?
