She wrinkled her nose and looked at slush. "Uh hey, Maybe be more encouraging. Plus most carnival games are rigged, so you must've rigged the game!" Peppermint patty looked at her with an angry look. But, then again, she wants to prove that carnival games are in fact rigged, and that she's not trash at throwing a ball. "Hmp... fine we can play this little fiasco." She gives slushy another ticket. Slushy smirked as Peppermint gave her a nasty look. Peppermint grabbed a ball and raised it up, as like she's inspecting it, looking for some hardware that can make the ball avoid the target. Froge looked worried, as he watched her inspect everything like a snoopy spy. One chicoon yells "HURRY UP ALREADY!" Peppermint made an angry face and looked at the chicoon. "EX-CUSE ME, IM TRYING TO DO A LIFE CHANGING INVESTIGATION. THERES OTHER GAMES TO PLAY, WAIT YOUR TURN!! The chicoon growled and walked off with their tickets in hand, Peppermint continued her super slow investigation. Froge is glad that she is taking her time stalking the booth, all of this over a bad throw.

"Oh you dirty little..!!" Hunter bared his teeth in anger and snarled at Slush Puppy when her little rant ended, but Grape interrupted him with a paw to the snout and cut off what he was going to say next. Her other paw held Skippy, her shromp, close to herself. "Calm down. Okay? Anger won't do you any good." Grape removed her paw from Hunter's snout and brought it back to pet Skippy.
"Why don't you try the dang thing then? We'll see how bad your temper can get after being berated like that!" Hunter spat out and crossed his arms. He gave Grape a side eye before looking back at Slush Puppy, and poor Froge.
"Okay, here. I'll do it." Grape let out a sigh. "You need to start being more patient with these types of things. Not everything is going to be so easy, especially carnival games." Skippy scuddled up Grape's arm and onto her shoulder as she took the ball from Slush Puppy to toss. She examined it and winced a little as she was worried of getting her hands a little dirty with the ball, but you only live once, and Grape was willing to make the sacrifice for some fun (Continues in next prompt.)

Prompt: Grape's palms sweat again as she stares at the little target sitting ahead of her. Her eyes move to the chicoon who has to deal with being dunked, she wasn't very sure if she wanted to do this. If she was successful, poor Froge would be so wet and soggy. Grape hates being wet and soggy unless she just showered. Though Froge probably signed up for this. She swung her arm back and toss the ball as hard as she could; Skippy could barely watch and covered his eyes with little shromp feet.

Reaction: Moxie, although more of a spitfire was thrilled for the taunt and challenge. He believes that although the target is small and far if he'll throw it every time- he'll eventually improve and one day 'hit it'. "Hey, it is my first time trying out this booth! Have a little faith in me will ya?" Moxie shuffled through his bag for a ticket, it seems like the ticket is hiding though. He found a pb&j sandwich, a coin, a single jellybean, and a nut before finally finding a ticket. "Here, it might smell and taste like peanut butter but here's my ticket!"

Moxie squinted his eyes over to the target in a joking manner, gesturing how far away the target looks. He had a serious expression after the challenging words of the booth master, his inner competitiveness was provoked after all.
"Why'd you have to make the target so small? Oh well, nothing's impossible so let's stop overthinking it and just go for it!" He yelled as threw the ball, fired up and confident in his throw.

"Hey Slush Puppy, If I hit this target, you better be ready to be dunked yourself next time! kekekek!" Moxie taunted, he wanted to have the last laugh after all. [207]

Moxie was new to the carnival, he wasn't an active go-er when he was little but he figured, why not go this year for a change? He had already visited Scoop's Carnival Golf, High Flyers, and Pops' Fishin' Hole but there are plenty more rides and whatnots to check out. Next on the agenda was Slush Puppy's Dunk Booth, a standard throw-the-ball, hope to the chicoon gods you hit the target. Reaction: Jason blinks his singular red eye behind his mask, somewhat unimpressed by the booth runner's heckling. He smelled, sure, but that's about what you should expect from a guy who's half lake water. He wasn't there the previous day, only having just arrived at the Carnival, but it wasn't like he was actually going to correct them on that. He couldn't actually talk, and he probably wouldn't even if he could. He growled menacingly at the booth runner, and drops a wet ball of... what is hopefully just lake sludge into their open hand. Who knows if there's a ticket in there or not. He was pretty decent at chucking other things at things, especially moving targets, so this couldn't be too different, right? Even if he'd never done something like this before. He snatched the offered ball from the booth runner and stepped up to throw. He took a great breath to steady himself. With as much force as possible he chucked the ball at the target. There's a loud impact noise and both Jason and the booth runner stand staring at what he'd manage to knock a decent dent into. He looked back at them expectantly.

Reaction: Max looked down as the Chicoon held out her hand, obviously expecting him to immediately slap a ticket into her palm so he could try again to hit the target and send Froge into the water. He wasn't sure he liked her abrasive attitude. He tucked his wings back against his head and raised an eyebrow at Slush Puppy. "Yaknow," he said, mimicking her, "you'll get more flies with honey than vinegar." The Chicoon held up a handful of tickets. "Maybe there are other games I would rather play, where the hosts aren't so mean?" He shook the tickets. "But, you're in luck because I do, in fact, want to give this another try. So here." He separated a ticket from the handful and dropped it into Slush Puppy's hand. "Let's do this again."

The rainbow colored Chicoon picked up another ball and took his time feeling the weight of it in his hand. Maybe he needed to start playing ball with his twins again, like he had when they were little and loved going out into the yard to toss a ball back and forth. He smiled as he tossed the ball from one hand to the other, paying attention to the way the ball moved. People always talked about how carnival games are rigged. Maybe there was something wrong with the way the ball flew? The ball had swerved quite a lot during his first throw.
