The pokemon growls again, holding its paw stiffly in the air. Anytime it places its paw on the ground it lets out a small whimper. Perhaps it’s hurt?

“Poor thing” Val soothes to the eevee
Val attempts to pick up the eevee
It growls though doesn’t fight back
Vine starred up in concern
“It’s okay Vine, we’re taking Eevee to the Pokémon Center”

Oasis the Totodile - Male - Lvl 5 - Scartch/ Leer - Jolly - Torrent

Kait walked out of the lab with her new companion, a Totodile named Oasis.
The young girl was ecstatic to have her first pokemon. She knew this was an
adventure she wouldn't regret having. She stopped, wondering where she
could go next to find more pokemon.

Kait had decided to go towards a forest area that she knew multiple pokemon
resided in, with the hopes that she'd find another pokemon to be friends with Oasis.

Kait and Oasis wander through the forest. It's quiet for a very long time. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a Swablu jumps out at you!

Ariella stepped out of the Pokemon lab, with her new Mudkip next to her. She had named him Finn, a name Ariella thought was fitting for her new companion. Excited to start on her grand journey, Ariella and Finn made their way to the nearest route just outside her hometown. She figured that starting out small would be easiest. Ariella stepped in the first, decently sized patch of grass, preparing herself for her first encounter with a wild Pokemon.

Ariella stood in the grass for a while. Eventually, she heard a rustling noise a few feet away from her. A Skitty jumps out of the grass!

It looks feisty. What will you do?

Reanna let out a nervous chuckle," Is it that obvious?" She'd watched the televised fights every now and then as a kid, and had even watched her mother's pokemon ward off the pests in their yard. She felt a little odd talking to a stranger so easily, but it was better than standing around and waiting, and so she allowed the small talk to continue.

As a Bidoof appeared during the training, Moon decided to give it a berry, pat it on the head, and leave it be. Bidoof are sort of cute, but not of much use to her by now.
She had continued training in peace, she knew soon that she'd be strong enough to challenge the next gym.
(Whoops sorry for not posting in so long, I've been focusing on so many other things, mainly adopts, that it sort of slipped my mind)

As you continued training, a Comfey flew out of a nearby bush!

The Geodude struggled, then fell. "Can it get back up?" Pixel challenged the gym leader.
