I believe this is the first time I've drawn Rayu here (I have one not-so-proper drawing of her in the making, but I'll save that one for later to post). Besides that I've sadly neglected her for many years because I had too much of an anxiety when it came to paws once upon a time when she and I were young. And when I overcame it, I just never got around to show her that I had faced my fears and problems ... It's been so many years since I last drew her that I decided to start with the longer one of the short stories I finished writing recently.
I cannot say how often I will have time to work with this though, I will do it whenever I've time and my health is up for it. Based on the manuscript this will be somewhere around 26 panels long once it's done.
Ah yes, I allow me to confess as well while I'm at it. I was such a nerd of Spyro when I created her. Thus her design is heavily inspired by him, lol. I still love that purple little dragon as well.
Ps. I love my rainbow fish and hate him, I didn't want to make a boring fish + I have never drawn a fish before today. He made me forget what the last panel was meant to look like originally and now I will have to change some of the upcoming panels because of him.
